5 featuresEnquiries, follow-ups and site visitsEvery lead from WhatsApp, Instagram, a walk-in or a referral stays an enquiry while you visit, take the brief and quote. It keeps the property, rooms, budget and follow-up date. The booking payment turns it into a project with its rooms and team.Instant quote with a decision pageA client sends a floor plan and, minutes later, gets a price range for each of your packages, such as Essential, Premium and Luxury. A picture card and a page let them pick a package or ask for a site visit. The ranges come from your own rates and quantity rules, room by room.Rooms and sizes read from a floor plan by AIAttach the floor plan a client sent, as a photo, screenshot or PDF. The AI lists the rooms with their kind and size, the carpet area and how sure it is. In auto mode, a plan that arrives in the chat inbox is read, quoted and sent on its own when the AI is sure enough.Quick Quote from WhatsApp, Instagram and web chatIn a chat in the SmartMy Marketing inbox, press Quick Quote. An instant quote opens with the contact and the last pictures or PDFs they sent. Work it out and send, and the ranges and link go back in the same conversation.Import the catalogue and open quotesIf your firm runs today on an Odoo-based system, SmartMy Interiors connects to it with a login and API key. It brings over your catalogue as box types and rate items, and your open quotations as draft estimates. Run it again and what was brought before is updated, not doubled.
Design
5 featuresDesign brief confirmed by the clientWrite down what the client wants: styles, colours, who lives there, storage, appliances and each room's wishes with photos. Then send it to the client to approve on their own page. The design starts from a brief they confirmed, with each version kept.Design fee agreements, retainers and hourly billsAgree the design fee as a flat sum, a share of the project value, a rate per area or room, or by the hour. Add a retainer and the stages it is billed at. Each bill, including extra concept rounds and hours, goes through approval and becomes a customer invoice.Concept rounds with mood boardsShow the client the look of each room, or the whole home, as a mood board with a palette and the idea in words. The client likes pictures, writes notes and approves or asks for changes on their own page. Every round is kept; rounds past those in the fee become a draft bill.Drawing register with revisions and sign-offKeep every drawing of a project, from layouts and elevations to ceiling, electrical and joinery details, with its revisions R0, R1, R2. The client signs off each revision on their own page. Earlier ones are marked replaced, and the drawing shows which revision the site works from.3D designer with a price on every boxDraw the rooms wall by wall and put your own kitchen and wardrobe boxes on the walls. Each box shows in 3D with its materials, its price and anything wrong with it. The client turns the design on their phone, tries other material sets with their prices, and approves.
Estimating and selling
4 featuresEstimates with rooms as sectionsThe detailed quote, laid out room by room. Modular boxes are priced from your materials, work such as false ceiling or painting comes from your rate library, and other lines are typed. The client approves it on a web page, and each new version tells them what changed.Materials, box kinds and parts rulesSet up your boards, finishes, edge bands, hardware and labour with dated rates. Describe how each kind of box is built: its parts by formula, its hardware and its sizes allowed. Every box in an estimate or a design is then priced from the materials it uses, with your overhead and margin.Product library, item schedule (FF&E) and proposalsKeep the furniture, lights, fabrics and fittings you specify in one library, clipped from the vendor's web page. Put them on each project's schedule room by room, priced by your markup rules. Then send the client a proposal of options to like and approve.Builder tie-up packagesFor a tie-up with a developer, make one package per building. It holds the developer's item codes and a price per unit type such as 2BHK or 3BHK. It also holds who pays, the days to handover and the penalty per day late. Each buyer's flat becomes its own project, valued from the package.
Projects
11 featuresProject stages held by roles, with checksEvery home moves from Site Measurement to Handed Over through stages, each held by a role such as the designer or the site supervisor. A project leaves a stage only when its check passes, for example the measurement sheet approved or every cut list made. The client reads in their app what each stage means.Payment plans that stop the job until paidGive each project a payment plan, such as the ready 10 / 50 / 35 / 5. Milestones fall due when a stage starts: the client is asked for 50 % as production begins. The job does not move on until that money is in. Payments Due shows what every client owes.Project feed and key eventsOne feed per project where updates, the daily work log, payments and stage changes land, each marked with who may see it. Key events such as the design presentation, site marking, installation and handover carry their own readiness checks. They also carry invitations the client answers from a link, reminders and follow-ups.Change orders and the daily work logSay the client wants a loft added or a wardrobe dropped after the price is agreed. A change order goes to them as a link to approve. Agreed, the project value and the payments still to come follow. The site team keeps one work log a day with photos, and the client sees it on their feed.Work plan and subcontract work ordersPlan the site work from your template and the approved estimate, with dates, the critical path and a Gantt. Give carpentry, false ceiling or painting to subcontractors on work orders at their rates. Pay them only on measured work your manager certified, and charge back the snags they caused.Snags, handover sign-off and client billingEvery snag is logged with a photo before and closed only with a photo after. The homeowner signs the handover off on a page with the items, warranties, care guides and keys. It goes only once snags are closed and cleaning and QC are done. The last client bill falls due as the job enters Closure.Task board with checklists and remindersEvery project's to-dos as tasks with people, dates, priority, checklists and subtasks, on a board, list, calendar or pivot. My Tasks shows each person their own, and reminders go out before the deadline and each morning while late. Designer hours stay in designer time, not on timesheets.Project expenses, advances and settlementsSite staff and designers claim what they spent on a project with the receipt. Or they ask for an advance before buying hardware locally and settle it after. An Interiors Manager approves, payments are recorded by method with proof, and a supplier's expense can become a draft vendor bill.Budgets by OPEX and CAPEXEach interior project gets a budget by cost category, approved before it counts. Purchase orders, subcontractor bills and expenses fill it by themselves, and payment milestone and design fee invoices count as revenue. The project manager is told at 80 % and again over 100 %.Profitability per projectOne row per interior project: the value sold, revenue invoiced, and cost so far split into OPEX and CAPEX. Also what is committed, the margin and how much of the budget is used. Filters show the jobs losing money or over budget.Dashboards: Sales, Design, ProjectsThree ready dashboards open first in Interiors. Sales and Design are for the whole team, and Projects is for managers. Every number counts only what the viewer may open, and a click shows the records behind it.
Measure and make
4 featuresSite measurement by room, wall and openingYour measurement team records every room in mm: walls, ceiling height, doors, windows, beams and service points, with photos. They work on the web or in the Site app, also without signal. A manager approves the sheet, and its rooms go straight into the 3D design.Cut lists, nesting and CNC files from the approved designThe design the client approved becomes the cut list. Every panel has its cut size, edges, grain, groove, drilling and a barcode label; each board gets its sheets after nesting. The panel list goes out as a CSV, and each panel as a DXF drawing for your CNC or panel saw.Own factory, outside vendor or bothEach cut list says who makes it: your own factory or an outside vendor. Your factory gets a manufacturing order with the boards it will use; a vendor gets the panel list and the drawings by email. Mix both on one project, and the project moves on only when every cut list is made.PurchasingOrder the furniture, lights and fittings the client approved from their vendors in one step: one purchase order per vendor and project. The vendor confirms and gives ship dates and tracking on their own page, late deliveries are flagged, and nothing is received without an inspection photo.
Design Studio
11 featuresWall finishes and floors in the designerPaint, wallpaper, panels, cladding, mouldings and tiles go on the walls of the 3D design. Tiles, stone, planks or carpet go on the floors in their laying pattern. The litres, rolls, boxes and square metres are worked out with wastage and priced into the estimate.False ceilings and lighting in the designerDraw false ceilings with coves, trays, islands and slats, place lights, fans, switches and sockets, and see the rooms lit at night. Each room's light level is checked. Ceiling area, cove metres and fittings are priced into the estimate, and the ceiling and electrical plans print as PDFs.Furniture, decor, appliances and bathrooms in the designerFurnish every room of the 3D design: beds, sofas, dining sets and wardrobes made to measure or bought, and ready 3D models. Add rugs, art, cushions, TVs and kitchen appliances, shower glass, tubs and accessories. Each piece is placed by touch, kept clear of walls and other things, and priced into the estimate.Partitions, curtains and blinds in the designerDraw glass, jaali, slat and bookshelf partitions with two taps, and dress every window and door with curtains, sheers, blinds or door shutters. Fabric metres, track metres, blind areas and partition areas are worked out and priced into the estimate.Styles applied to the whole houseApply a style such as Modern, Scandinavian or Indian Contemporary to the whole design in one click, or room by room. Offer each room in Essential, Premium or Luxury with the price of each level, and let the client try them on the 3D page. Furnish a room or the house by your own rules.Drawings made from the modelFurnished plans, elevations of every wall, tile layouts, ceiling sections, ceiling and electrical plans come straight from the 3D design. They form a numbered drawing set with a cover, an index and a title block. Each issue is a revision in the drawing register for the client to sign off.Priced quantities and purchase lists from the modelThe 3D design is the quote. Everything in it, from paint litres and tile boxes to lights, curtains and furniture, becomes estimate lines. You also get a purchase list by supplier and the work by trade with quantities and value. The design is also checked against the site measurement. The client's choice page in 3DSend the client two options of a design. On their 3D page they compare them side by side and approve or ask for changes room by room. They can take a room from the other option and see the price as chosen. The studio approves their choices before they count.360 views and the client's galleryMake 360° views of the rooms in the browser and send each one on WhatsApp with a link that needs no login. Record a filmed tour with captions and a small plan, and show day and night side by side. The client's gallery keeps it all.SketchUp, IFC and DXF export and importSend the building and its design to SketchUp and other tools as COLLADA, glTF, IFC or DXF plans. Models made in SketchUp come back into the 3D view as reference models. SketchUp's own .skp files are not read or written: save them as COLLADA or IFC in SketchUp first. The house outside, the site and the sunDesign the outside too: outer walls round every level, roofs, terraces, stairs and railings, facades, the garden and pools, gates and compound walls. All are priced under Outside and the Site. Walk the client from the gate into the rooms and set the sun to any date and hour. Make lifelike photos in the browser and open the builder's IFC model in 3D.
