SECURITY AND DATA
Who sees a student's record. Who changed it.
Each sees their ownStudents see their own record, parents what the college allows, staff their own college.
Marks before resultsStudents see marks once the exam cell publishes them. Evaluators see a dummy number, not the student's name.
Changes carry a nameEvery evaluator's mark is kept in the history. A cancelled receipt keeps its reason and who cancelled it.
Issued stays on recordReceipts and issued certificates are never deleted. A closed cashier day is locked.

What does SmartMy College cover?
Admissions, student records, fees with scholarships, receipts and online payment, subject-wise attendance, assignments and internal assessment, examinations from the question bank to valuation, results with SGPA and CGPA, choice based credits and electives, evening, weekend and distance programmes with contact classes, placement, certificates, the library and discipline. Students and faculty use the SmartMy Campus app and the web portal.
Does it follow the choice based credit system and the NEP?
Yes. Course categories, credits from lecture, tutorial and practical hours, elective baskets, open electives and add or drop are settings. APAAR / ABC IDs and credit export, credit transfer from SWAYAM, NPTEL and other institutions, and multiple entry and exit with an award certificate are built.
Can we run evening, weekend or distance programmes?
This is built and still in testing. It has been checked in code, and its tests are written but not yet run. We try it with you before go-live. Each programme has a mode of study: regular, part-time, evening, weekend, distance, online or blended. Evening and weekend timetables stay inside the mode's days and hours, which you set. Distance and online programmes get contact classes at study centres or online. Their attendance is counted by rule sets you set, including how approved and medical leave count. Rule sets apply to contact classes only. Students can be allotted exam centres. For exams the university runs, its marks are entered or imported; that part is only partly built.
Do students sign in themselves?
Yes. Students use the app and the portal for their own record. The college decides what parents may do: view and act, view only or no access.
Can a university use it?
A university's own campus or a constituent college can be set up as a college, with its departments, programmes and semesters. Managing affiliated colleges, research programmes and convocation are not built.
Why do the app and the sign-in page say SmartMy Campus?
SmartMy College and SmartMy School run on the same product, SmartMy Campus. The sign-in page, the student portal and the phone app carry that name. A college sees only the college screens.
Can students pay fees online?
Yes, on the app and the portal, through the payment gateway account you connect. The receipt is made at once. Online payment has been tried with a test provider, not yet at a college.
Are hostel, transport, mess and payroll included?
No. SmartMy Hostel, Transit, Feast and HRMS are separate products. Each links to the student record, so hostel, mess and bus fees can sit on the same fee ledger.
Can we try it?
Yes. Ask for a trial on this site. We call you, talk it through, and set up your college's workspace after that call.
What does it cost?
We have not published prices. Tell us your student strength and how many colleges you run, and we will send a quote in writing.
