The SmartMy Interiors apps
Three phone apps on the same data as the web. SmartMy Interiors for sales, designers and managers; SmartMy Interiors Site, which works without signal; SmartMy Interiors Client for the homeowner. Built and tested against a test server; not yet run on a phone and not in the app stores.
PLANSEvery plan
Built and tested against a test server; not yet run on a real phone and not in the App Store or Google Play.
The problem it solves
- A sales person at a show flat cannot give a price range until they are back at the office.
- Measurements are written on paper at site and typed in again, with mistakes.
- Basements and new towers have no signal, so a site app that needs one is useless there.
- Clients phone the designer to ask what stage the job is at and what they still owe.
How it works
- Each person signs in with their SmartMy login or a passkey. The first time, the app asks for your organisation's server address.
- Sales and designers open SmartMy Interiors on Enquiries. They add an enquiry, book a site visit, photograph a floor plan and send an instant quote from the phone.
- The site team opens SmartMy Interiors Site on Today: the work planned for the day, the daily work log, measurements, snags and panel labels. Without signal, their work waits on the phone and goes in order when signal is back.
- The client signs in to SmartMy Interiors Client with a portal login. They see the stage, what waits for their decision, payments, updates with photos, warranties, and can ask for service.
- Each app shows only the parts your plan has and your role allows.
Everything it does
SmartMy Interiors (sales, designers, managers)
- Enquiries: Mine or Everyone, search by name or phone, hot ones marked; a new enquiry with property, carpet area, scope, budget and rooms
- Site visits: book one (the client and the designer are told), then Visit done with what was agreed, sizes taken and photos
- Instant quote: add the floor plan photo, Read the plan with AI, leave out or put back rooms. Then Work out each package's range, then Send or Share
- Projects: your projects (managers: all) with the stage, who holds it and whether it is late, the team with Call, rooms, payments and updates
- Time: your hours this week, and hours added to a project with the kind of work (with designer time, Growth)
- Approvals: what waits for you to approve, of any SmartMy product, shown only when something does
SmartMy Interiors Site (works without signal)
- Today: the work plan's activities for today with % done, critical and late marks; tap one to set % done
- Work log: people on site, work done lines by room and %, photos, issues at site, Client sees this log, Submit the day
- Measure (Growth): rooms with ceiling height in mm, walls clockwise from the door, and each opening's position, width, height and sill. Photos per room; Submit the measurement for checking
- Snags: new snag with room, photo and note, Fixed with the after photo, Close for managers
- Panel Labels (Growth): scan a panel's label or type it, see its project, room, box, part, size and material, and mark it received at site
- Offline: the last answer of each screen is kept, and writes wait in a queue and go in order. A write is done once even if sent twice, and the time you did it is kept (up to 7 days back)
- A write the server refuses is dropped and listed for you; the queue belongs to one user and is cleared if someone else signs in
SmartMy Interiors Client
- My Home: the stage, Waiting for you (briefs, concepts, drawings, designs, estimates, proposals, change orders, handovers), payments, and the team with Call
- Updates: the project feed meant for the client, with photos, and Seen on posts that ask for it
- Service: warranties after handover with the care guide, and Ask for service with a photo; the app says whether it is under warranty
- The client's family and architect see the project too when they are on its team with a login
- Clients have no back office; a decision opens its decision page
All three apps
- iPhone and Android, on one shared code base
- Sign in with the web login or a passkey
- Phone notifications when the app is set up with push, and the SmartMy inbox with every notice
- Photos are sized on the phone, up to 8 MB each
- Lists load at most 200 lines at a time

Questions
Can we download the apps today?
Not yet. The three apps are built and pass their screen tests against a test server. They have not been run on a real phone and are not in the App Store or Google Play.Does the site app really work without signal?
That is how it is built. Each screen keeps its last answer, and what you do waits on the phone and goes in order when signal is back. A step sent twice is done once. It has not yet been tried on a phone at a site.Do clients pay for their logins?
No. Client logins are free and unlimited. Only users with an Interiors role count. Can a designer use the 3D designer on the phone?
No. The 3D designer, estimates and cut lists are on the web. The apps cover enquiries, quotes, site work, approvals and the client's view. Can the client approve a design in the app?
Yes. Waiting for you lists what is sent for their decision. Tapping one opens its decision page, where they approve or ask for changes.Related features
SALESEnquiries, follow-ups and site visitsEvery lead from WhatsApp, Instagram, a walk-in or a referral stays an enquiry while you visit, take the brief and quote. It keeps the property, rooms, budget and follow-up date. The booking payment turns it into a project with its rooms and team.SALESInstant quote with a decision pageA client sends a floor plan and, minutes later, gets a price range for each of your packages, such as Essential, Premium and Luxury. A picture card and a page let them pick a package or ask for a site visit. The ranges come from your own rates and quantity rules, room by room.MEASURE AND MAKESite measurement by room, wall and openingYour measurement team records every room in mm: walls, ceiling height, doors, windows, beams and service points, with photos. They work on the web or in the Site app, also without signal. A manager approves the sheet, and its rooms go straight into the 3D design.PROJECTSSnags, handover sign-off and client billingEvery snag is logged with a photo before and closed only with a photo after. The homeowner signs the handover off on a page with the items, warranties, care guides and keys. It goes only once snags are closed and cleaning and QC are done. The last client bill falls due as the job enters Closure.PROJECTSChange orders and the daily work logSay the client wants a loft added or a wardrobe dropped after the price is agreed. A change order goes to them as a link to approve. Agreed, the project value and the payments still to come follow. The site team keeps one work log a day with photos, and the client sees it on their feed.MEASURE AND MAKECut lists, nesting and CNC files from the approved designThe design the client approved becomes the cut list. Every panel has its cut size, edges, grain, groove, drilling and a barcode label; each board gets its sheets after nesting. The panel list goes out as a CSV, and each panel as a DXF drawing for your CNC or panel saw.
