What does SmartMy School cover?
Admissions, student records, fees with receipts and online payment, the timetable and attendance, homework and lesson plans, exams and report cards, circulars, parent-teacher meetings and chat, certificates, student leave, pickups and early exits, activities, the library and discipline. Parents, students and teachers use the SmartMy Campus app and the web portal.
Why do the app and the sign-in page say SmartMy Campus?
SmartMy School and SmartMy College run on the same product, SmartMy Campus. The sign-in page, the parent portal and the phone app carry that name. A school sees only the school screens.
Is there an app for parents?
Yes. The SmartMy Campus app for Android and iPhone is built and not in the stores yet. A parent switches between their children with one sign-in. Until the app is in the stores, families use the web portal on a computer or a phone.
Can parents pay fees online?
Yes, on the app and the portal, through the payment gateway account you connect. The receipt is made at once. Online payment has been tried with a test provider, not yet at a school. The counter still takes cash, cheque and bank payments.
Can we bring in our current data?
Yes, from Excel. You fill our sheets with students and parents, staff, classes, the timetable, fee structures, past marks and opening dues. Everything is checked first, and nothing is saved until the whole file is clean.
Are transport, hostel, canteen and staff payroll included?
No. SmartMy Transit, Hostel, Feast and HRMS are separate products. Each links to the student record, so bus, hostel and mess fees can sit on the same fee ledger, and parents see the bus route and stop in the same app.
Who handles visitors and pickups at the gate?
Pickups and early exits are part of SmartMy School and need nothing else: the gate checks the parent's one-time code and the photo of the person collecting. Other visitors at the gate are SmartMy VMS, a separate product.
Can we try it?
Yes. Ask for a trial on this site. We call you, talk it through, and set up your school's workspace after that call.
What does it cost?
We have not published prices. Tell us your student strength and how many schools you run, and we will send a quote in writing.
