Furniture, decor, appliances and bathrooms in the designer

Furnish every room of the 3D design: beds, sofas, dining sets and wardrobes made to measure or bought, and ready 3D models. Add rugs, art, cushions, TVs and kitchen appliances, shower glass, tubs and accessories. Each piece is placed by touch, kept clear of walls and other things, and priced into the estimate.
PLANSScale only

The problem it solves

  • The design shows a sofa from a free model site, but the quote has a different one at a different price.
  • Loose furniture, curtains and decor are quoted on a separate sheet the client never sees next to the 3D view.
  • A queen bed is drawn in a room where it blocks the wardrobe doors, and nobody notices until delivery.
  • Appliances are left out of the purchase list, so the TV and the chimney are ordered late.

How it works

  1. Pick Furniture, Decor, Bathroom or Appliances on the designer's rail. Choose a kind and a piece from the picture cards, or drag a card into the room.
  2. The piece goes where its kind belongs: a bed with its back to a wall, a TV on the picked wall. A laptop goes on the desk, cushions on the sofa, a WC with its back to a wall.
  3. Press and drag to move it, use the ring or R to turn it, arrows to nudge. A spot where it would stick out of the room or run into something is refused with the reason.
  4. On the right, change the variant, size, materials, fabric, finish or price, or swap a made piece for a 3D model from the library.
  5. Each piece becomes an estimate line under its trade: carpentry, loose furniture, soft furnishing, decor, plumbing, glass and partitions, or other.

Everything it does

  • Made: Custom-Made, priced from board and fabric m², legs, runners, lifts, handles and the type's labour. Or Bought at the type's price; a typed price is kept
  • Turned in 5 degree steps; dining sets and meeting tables count their chairs pulled in
  • Starter catalogue: 322 furniture types, drawn in code

Ready 3D models

  • A starter set of 20 models in the product (15 from Poly Haven under CC0, 5 drawn by us)
  • A shared library of 116 Poly Haven models (CC0) served from SmartMy, not stored in your database
  • Your own or your supplier's GLB files when Own 3D Models is on (largest file 20 MB to start with). Sizes are read from the file, with a warning when typed sizes look like cm and mm mixed up
  • Lamps and pendants from the library light the room at night

Decor

  • Rugs (plain, border, stripes, geometric, medallion, shaggy, jute; rectangles, round, oval, runners, mats). Also art in frames, mirrors, cushions and throws, vases, plants, shelves with books, sculptures
  • Art pictures: 8 public-domain paintings and prints (The Met Open Access, CC0), 8 abstracts drawn in code, or your upload
  • On the floor, a wall or another item; cushions and throws follow their sofa or bed
  • Priced a piece

  • Gym, office, hotel, bar, commercial kitchen, shop and clinic equipment; anything else drawn from a Shape
  • Brand and Model No. shown in the estimate line and on the purchase list; the starter types carry no brand names

Bathroom pieces

  • Shower enclosures and walk-in screens in clear, fluted, frosted or tinted glass, priced by the m²
  • Shower sets, steam and sauna cabins, trays and linear drains
  • Built-in, alcove, corner and free-standing tubs, whirlpool jets

Moving and checking

  • One way for every piece: press and drag, ring to turn, arrows to nudge (Shift: 100 mm), Delete, Ctrl+Z
  • Smart guides snap to the edges and middles of other things and show distances
  • Pieces panel: every piece by room and family, with hide, lock and light on / off
  • Door swings are checked when a room is auto-furnished, not when you move a piece by hand

Questions

Can we use the 3D models our furniture supplier sends?

Yes, as GLB files, once an administrator turns on Own 3D Models. A file up to 20 MB is taken to start with; the size is read from the file.

Are the free models safe to use commercially?

The models, textures and art shipped with the product are CC0 or public domain: free for commercial use without credit. The licences are listed with the files.

Does it come with real brands and prices?

No. The starter types have sample rupee prices and no brand names. You fill in the makes you sell and your own prices.

Can the furniture be made in our factory?

A made-to-measure piece is priced from its materials and labour. Cut lists for the factory come from the joinery boxes; free-standing furniture is not sent to the cut list.

Has every piece been looked at in a browser?

Each type was placed and drawn on our demo through the designer's calls and a three.js run. The appliances and some newer kinds have not had a hand check in a browser yet.
