3D designer with a price on every box
Draw the rooms wall by wall and put your own kitchen and wardrobe boxes on the walls. Each box shows in 3D with its materials, its price and anything wrong with it. The client turns the design on their phone, tries other material sets with their prices, and approves.

Why it matters
In most modular firms the quote, the 3D design and the cut list live in three tools. They stop agreeing the moment the client changes a shutter finish. In SmartMy Interiors each box is priced from your own materials and rules. The client turns the design on a link, tries other material sets and sees the new total. The same approved design then becomes the estimate and the cut list.
The problem it solves
- The quote is made in a spreadsheet, the design in a 3D program, and the two never agree after the second change.
- A wardrobe is drawn wider than the wall, or a wall unit covers a window, and nobody sees it until installation.
- The client asks what a different finish would cost, and you need a day to work it out.
- The client approves on WhatsApp from a screenshot, and later says the design was different.
How it works
- Make a design for the project (or for an enquiry, before booking) and pick its material set. Bring in the rooms from the approved site measurement, from the project's room sizes, or drawn in the designer.
- Open the 3D Designer. Pick a wall, choose a box use such as Kitchen Base or Wall Unit, and the box goes on the wall at its usual size. Type sizes, drag it along the wall, or press Fill the wall to fill every free stretch around doors and windows.
- Each box shows its price as you change it. Change any part's material in the picture picker, its front (doors, drawers, lift-up, glass or open), its options and its inside fittings; the price follows.
- A box that does not fit, overlaps another, covers a door or window, or goes above the ceiling turns red with the reason. Doors and drawers that would hit another box when they open are warned on both boxes.
- Press Send to Client. The client gets a link to the design's page and its 3D view. They turn it, open the doors, try another material set with its total, and approve or ask for changes.
- Once approved, press Lock for Production. Make Estimate and Make Cut List both take the locked design, so the price, the drawings and the factory work from the same boxes.
Everything it does
Rooms and walls
- Rooms from Measurement: rooms in scope of the approved sheet (else the last submitted one), with every wall, door, window and service point
- Rooms from Project (Rooms from Enquiry before booking): four walls from each room's length and width
- Walls typed by length with a turn left or right and its degrees (90 for a square corner, 45 for a cut corner)
- Openings and points per wall: door, window, opening or arch, beam, column, water, drain, gas, power, switch board, AC point, other
- Check against the Site: ceiling heights, wall lengths and door and window places compared with the measurement, beyond a tolerance (20 mm to start with)
Boxes on the walls
- Box uses: Kitchen Base, Wall Unit, Tall Unit, Loft, Swing Wardrobe, Vanity and your own. Each gives the type, usual size, shutters, mount and height from the floor
- Size, place on the wall (from left, from floor), shutters and front: Doors, Drawers, Lift-up Door, Glass Doors or Open
- Fill the wall: standard widths along every free stretch. What is left becomes a box made to fit, or a small gap is closed with a filler
- Materials per part (carcass, back, shutter core, shelves, outside and inside finish, edge, hinges, handles, runners), as the design or its own
- Inside fittings: cutlery tray, plate basket, bottle pull-out, corner carousel, magic corner, pantry pull-out, waste bin, hanging rod, trouser pull-out, shoe rack and more. They are priced into the box
- Worktops over every base run, islands and breakfast bars, with sinks, taps, hob cut-outs and backsplash, priced by the m² and per piece
Price and checks
- Each box priced from the box type: built from materials (boards, finishes, edge band, hardware, labour, overhead and margin) or a simple rate with extras
- Material rates of the day are used; the cost shows next to the price for your team
- Refused, with the reason: too big or small for its type, width not in its steps, not on the wall, overlapping. Also covering a door, window or opening, above the ceiling, a finish on a core it may not go on
- Warned: doors or drawers that hit another box when they open
- A design with a refused box cannot be sent to the client
- Room totals, the design total, and the total each material set would give, in the set picker
Views
- 3D, Plan from above, Wall (straight at one wall), Walk at eye height, and Level (every room of the floor)
- Doors and drawers open on a click; finishes drawn with their texture at real size, swatch or colour; day and night
- Works by touch on iPad and Android tablets in the browser; sizes typed in feet and inches, metres, cm or mm
Versions and the client
- Status: Draft, With the Client, Approved, Changes Asked, Locked for Production, Replaced

- Approved in Person for a client who signs on paper
- New Version copies a sent or approved design as the next draft; the old one becomes Replaced
- Lock for Production: only a design the client approved; then Make Estimate (stage Final) and Make Cut List

Questions
Can we use our own cabinet sizes and prices?
Yes. The boxes are your own box types and uses, with your parts rules, sizes allowed, hardware and rates. The starter ones are examples to change.Does the client need to install anything?
No. The client opens a link in WhatsApp or email and turns the design in the phone's browser. There is no login. What happens if the client changes their mind after approving?
Make a new version. It starts as a draft copy; the approved one is kept as Replaced, so you always know what was approved. Can the client see our cost or margin?
No. The client sees each box, its size, the total and the price of each material set. Cost and margin are only on your side. Can we import a SketchUp or other 3D model of the kitchen?
Kitchens and wardrobes are drawn with your boxes in the designer, so they can be priced and cut. Bringing in cabinets from another program is not built.Which plan has it?
Growth and Scale. Scale adds the finishes, ceilings, lighting, furniture and decor families and the client's choice page.Related features
ESTIMATING AND SELLINGMaterials, box kinds and parts rulesSet up your boards, finishes, edge bands, hardware and labour with dated rates. Describe how each kind of box is built: its parts by formula, its hardware and its sizes allowed. Every box in an estimate or a design is then priced from the materials it uses, with your overhead and margin.ESTIMATING AND SELLINGEstimates with rooms as sectionsThe detailed quote, laid out room by room. Modular boxes are priced from your materials, work such as false ceiling or painting comes from your rate library, and other lines are typed. The client approves it on a web page, and each new version tells them what changed.MEASURE AND MAKECut lists, nesting and CNC files from the approved designThe design the client approved becomes the cut list. Every panel has its cut size, edges, grain, groove, drilling and a barcode label; each board gets its sheets after nesting. The panel list goes out as a CSV, and each panel as a DXF drawing for your CNC or panel saw.MEASURE AND MAKESite measurement by room, wall and openingYour measurement team records every room in mm: walls, ceiling height, doors, windows, beams and service points, with photos. They work on the web or in the Site app, also without signal. A manager approves the sheet, and its rooms go straight into the 3D design.DESIGN STUDIOThe client's choice page in 3DSend the client two options of a design. On their 3D page they compare them side by side and approve or ask for changes room by room. They can take a room from the other option and see the price as chosen. The studio approves their choices before they count.DESIGN STUDIOPriced quantities and purchase lists from the modelThe 3D design is the quote. Everything in it, from paint litres and tile boxes to lights, curtains and furniture, becomes estimate lines. You also get a purchase list by supplier and the work by trade with quantities and value. The design is also checked against the site measurement.
