Dashboards: Sales, Design, Projects

Three ready dashboards open first in Interiors. Sales and Design are for the whole team, and Projects is for managers. Every number counts only what the viewer may open, and a click shows the records behind it.
PLANSEvery plan

The problem it solves

  • The owner asks every morning how many enquiries are hot and which jobs are late.
  • Designers do not know which concepts and drawings are still with the client.
  • Money due from clients is found by going through each project.

How it works

  1. Open Interiors: the dashboards are its first menu.
  2. Sales Dashboard shows enquiries, follow-ups, instant quotes and site visits.
  3. Design Dashboard shows briefs, concepts and drawings with the client and changes asked.
  4. Projects Dashboard (managers) shows running jobs, late stages, payments, key events and approvals waiting.
  5. Click a tile to open its records. In edit mode, add your own tiles or make a private copy.

Everything it does

Sales Dashboard (every Interiors user)

  • Open enquiries, hot enquiries, follow-ups due, booked (with a sparkline)
  • Instant quotes sent, quotes to send, visits asked from quotes, site visits coming
  • Enquiries by source (pie), pipeline by status (bar)

Design Dashboard (every Interiors user)

  • Briefs with the client, concepts with the client, changes asked, drawings to sign off
  • Concept rounds approved (sparkline), rounds per project (bar)

Projects Dashboard (managers)

  • Running projects, late in their stage, payments due (sum), key events coming
  • Jobs by stage (bar), overrides to approve, design fee bills to approve, received (sum, sparkline)

What you can do

  • Date range, refresh and auto-refresh
  • Edit mode: drag and resize items; add a number tile, a chart (bar, line, area, pie, doughnut) or a list
  • Make a private copy; set as my dashboard
  • Tiles of features you do not have are left out

Access

  • Every number follows the viewer's access: a designer counts only their own enquiries and projects
  • Administrators share dashboards with groups or named people

Who uses it

OwnerReads the Projects Dashboard for late jobs and money due.
Sales personWorks from follow-ups due and quotes to send.
DesignerSees what is with the client and what came back with changes.

Where you use it

  • Web: Interiors, first menu (Sales Dashboard, Design Dashboard, Projects Dashboard)
  • Not in the Interiors apps: they show lists, not dashboards
  • Not built: tiles for expenses, budgets or profitability on the ready dashboards; add them in edit mode

What you control

Settings

  • Your own layout, date range and auto-refresh
  • Which dashboard opens for you
  • Who a shared dashboard is shared with (administrators)

Questions

Will a designer see company-wide numbers?

No. Every number is counted as the person looking. The Projects Dashboard is for managers.

Can we add our own tiles?

Yes. In edit mode add a number, chart or list on any data you can see. Make a private copy first to keep the shared one as it is.

Can we export a dashboard?

Not as a file. Click a tile to open its records and export the list.

Which plan has it?

Every plan, Starter included.

Related features

SALESEnquiries, follow-ups and site visitsEvery lead from WhatsApp, Instagram, a walk-in or a referral stays an enquiry while you visit, take the brief and quote. It keeps the property, rooms, budget and follow-up date. The booking payment turns it into a project with its rooms and team.DESIGNConcept rounds with mood boardsShow the client the look of each room, or the whole home, as a mood board with a palette and the idea in words. The client likes pictures, writes notes and approves or asks for changes on their own page. Every round is kept; rounds past those in the fee become a draft bill.PROJECTSProject stages held by roles, with checksEvery home moves from Site Measurement to Handed Over through stages, each held by a role such as the designer or the site supervisor. A project leaves a stage only when its check passes, for example the measurement sheet approved or every cut list made. The client reads in their app what each stage means.PROJECTSPayment plans that stop the job until paidGive each project a payment plan, such as the ready 10 / 50 / 35 / 5. Milestones fall due when a stage starts: the client is asked for 50 % as production begins. The job does not move on until that money is in. Payments Due shows what every client owes.PROJECTSProfitability per projectOne row per interior project: the value sold, revenue invoiced, and cost so far split into OPEX and CAPEX. Also what is committed, the margin and how much of the budget is used. Filters show the jobs losing money or over budget.
