Who is SmartMy Learn for?
Schools and colleges that teach part of their courses online, and companies that train their staff: onboarding, policies, safety and skills.
Is it Moodle underneath?
No. SmartMy Learn is its own learning system. It works with Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard through LTI 1.3, in both directions.
Do we need SmartMy Campus or SmartMy HRMS?
No. It works on its own. With Campus it enrols by class and subject and sends quiz scores to the exam paper; with HRMS it enrols by department and job and blocks probation confirmation until the needed courses are done.
Can learners download our videos?
Not unless you allow it. Videos play from signed links with the learner's name moving over them, and the Android app blocks screenshots.
Does it work offline?
Courses that allow it let learners save videos and PDFs inside the app for a set number of days, never as files they can share. Progress is sent once they are back online.
Can we sell our courses to people outside?
Yes, if you switch it on: a course shop with coupons and online payment through your own payment provider. Buyers get a login and are enrolled when they pay.
How is it priced?
Per user a month, with storage per user included and pooled. Watching is free and YouTube or Vimeo lessons use no storage.
