CONTRACTORS · DEVELOPERS · OWNER-BUILDERS · SUBCONTRACTORS

Today's site report, with the client by evening.

Your site team records the day on the phone: work done, labour, material, plant, issues and photos. By evening the company has the full report with costs, and the client has their own version without them, by email or WhatsApp. Budget, wages, bills and bank loans run from the same records.

WITHOUT IT

What goes wrong without it.

×The client hears about progress only when they phone the project manager.
×Site photos sit in fifteen phones and three WhatsApp groups.
×The muster roll is a notebook, and the wage sheet is rebuilt from it every week.
×The budget is checked after the money has gone.
×Subcontractors are paid on their own measurements.
×The bank asks for a drawdown pack, and someone loses a week putting it together.

The site engineer fills in today's report as the day goes, the foreman marks the muster roll or a tablet at the gate checks workers in by face, and snags are raised with a photo where they are found. Project managers approve the client's update from the same app.

Highlights

The parts of SmartMy Construction people notice first.Every feature →
01Stages you leave only when the checks passEvery job moves through your stages, from Planning and Approvals to the Defects Period. A stage lets go only when its checks pass, such as the key events done or the client's stage payment received. Passing anyway takes an approval with the reason on record. How it works 02Key events: slab casting, handoverBhoomi pooja, foundation pour, slab casting, topping out and handover run as key events. Each has readiness checks counted back from the day, bookings for ready-mix and pump, and invitations the client answers from a link. Curing and cube results follow by themselves. How it works 03Site updates to the company and the clientEvery submitted site report makes two updates: a full one for your own people and a clean one for the client. The client one has progress and photos but never your costs, crews or notes. Each goes by email or WhatsApp, as a link or as a picture card, after a manager's approval if you want one. Weekly and monthly round-ups add up the days, and clients can comment. How it works 04Inspection and test plans with hold pointsSet the inspection and test plan for each kind of work, with hold points, witness points, document reviews and your own checks. Inspection requests go by email to the client's engineer, the consultant or a third-party inspector. They record the result on a link, without a login. A later step at a place cannot be asked for while an earlier hold point there is not approved. How it works 05Lab tests, non-conformances and the quality gate on billingTrack every sample from the pour to the lab result: cubes at 7 and 28 days, steel, soil, brick and water. Each is due on its date and passed or failed against its limits. A failed test raises a non-conformance by itself; a closed one charged to a subcontractor comes off their next running bill. With the quality gate on, work is certified for billing only when its hold points have passed. How it works 06The building in 3DDraw the building on its plot, wall by wall and level by level. See it in 3D with its roof, site, neighbours, stairs, facade and garden. Cut it open, check the sun at any hour and walk in from the gate. Print the A3 drawing set, open the architect's IFC model beside it and make lifelike photos in the browser. How it works 07BOQ from the 3D modelPress one button on the project and the building's 3D model becomes a draft BOQ, a section a trade, with quantities and your rates. The walls, concrete, roofing and glazing come from the elements drawn. The tiles, paint, false ceilings, points, stairs, facades and garden come from the finishes and the outside. How it works 082D drawings to 3D with AIUpload a floor plan or elevation as a picture, a PDF page or a DXF. The plan is read into walls, doors, windows, rooms and the roof; you check what was found and the scale, then press Build in 3D. The building opens in the designer, ready for its BOQ. A picture or PDF takes about 50 AI credits a drawing; a DXF is read without them. How it works
SECURITY AND DATA

The client sees progress. Costs stay with you.

The client never sees your costsThe client's update is made from the same day, but costs, wages and internal notes are never on it. You choose what else they see, project by project.
Site staff see their own sitesA site engineer sees the projects they run or are in the team of. Wages are open only to the people you name.
Submitted means finalA submitted report, an approved budget, a paid wage run and a certified measurement are not edited. Changes are new records, with a name and a reason.
Links that run outA client's update link opens without a login and stops working after the days you set. Clients with a login keep every past report in their portal.

Questions and answers

Who is SmartMy Construction for?
Contractors who build for a client, developers who build and sell units, companies putting up their own building, and subcontractors who work under a main contractor. One company can be several of these at once.
Does the client need to install anything or sign in?
No. The client gets a link that opens on any phone, or the report as pictures straight in WhatsApp or email. Clients who want every past report can have a portal login.
Can the client's update go out without us seeing it first?
Only if you want it to. For each project, the update either waits for the project manager's approval or goes by itself at the time you set.
Does it work in our country?
Yes. Nothing is fixed to one country: currency and units (metric or imperial) are set per project, and tax, wage deductions and withholding are data you can change. Country packs fill them in for you.
Can workers check in at the gate by face?
Yes, the workers who agree to it. A tablet at the site gate recognises them: the first scan of the day is the check-in and the last is the check-out, and hours and overtime are worked out from them. Consent is taken on paper or on the tablet at the gate, and no photo is kept.
We buy for all our sites centrally. Does that work?
Yes, with SmartMy Trade. An approved material request from a site goes to your purchase desk as an indent, and the orders made from it stay linked to the project, its budget lines and the site store.
Do we have to buy everything?
No. Starter already runs a project end to end: the BOQ, daily reports, labour and wages, budgets, materials, subcontractor and client bills. Growth and Scale add stages and key events, rate analysis, piece work, lab tests, face check-in at the gate and more; the plans compared page shows what each plan holds.
Can buyers see their payments and loan releases?
Yes. Buyers see their home, its stages, what is due, what they paid and their loan releases in the portal, and get a message when a demand is raised or a release is made.
What does it cost?
There is no price list on the site yet. Tell us how many sites you run, how many people work on them and which features you want, and we will quote for that.

See your next site report on it.
