Country packs: India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK, US
A pack for your country adds the property types buyers there use and sets your units: feet and square feet, or millimetres and square metres. The tax notes in each pack are drafts awaiting a local adviser: taxes themselves come from your country's accounting set-up.
PLANSEvery plan
Built; the tax notes are drafts awaiting a local adviser, so packs are installed with you and not by themselves yet.
The problem it solves
- A Dubai studio quotes in square feet because the software was set up for India.
- Property types such as "3BHK" mean nothing to a buyer in London or Texas.
- A 100 m² flat is matched to the wrong size class because the types are in another unit.
- Nobody on the team is sure how design fees and works are taxed in a new country.
How it works
- We install the pack of your country with your database. Packs are drafts awaiting advisers today, so we install them with you rather than by themselves.
- The pack adds its property types under Configuration > Property Types, each with its bedrooms, size range and unit. Change or archive them like your own.
- It sets the Interiors Units of the entities in that country. New enquiries, quick quotes and projects start in them; each one can still be changed.
- Add each type's typical rooms under Configuration > Instant Quote > Property Types and Rooms before using it in instant quotes.
- Read the pack's tax notes with your adviser, then set the taxes in your accounting set-up.

- Units: imperial (inches and ft²)

What a pack does and does not do
- Data only: property types and the units setting; it holds no tax rates, accounts or forms
- A carpet area in the other unit is converted before a property type is picked, so 100 m² (about 1,076 ft²) matches a ft² type
- Without a pack, Interiors Units start as imperial and the starter property types are Indian
- Amounts on instant quote cards are grouped by your currency: lakhs for rupees (8,70,000)
- Other countries: no pack yet; set your own property types and units

Questions
Does the pack set up our GST or VAT?
No. A pack holds property types and units only. Taxes and e-invoices come from your country's accounting set-up. The pack's tax notes are a draft for you and your adviser to check. Why are the tax notes called drafts?
They have not yet been confirmed by a local tax adviser in each country. Use them as a starting point, and follow your adviser where they differ. We quote in square metres in India. Can we?
Yes. Change Interiors Units to Metric for your entity, or per enquiry, quote or project. Property types are matched in their own unit after conversion. Is there a pack for Qatar or Singapore?
Not yet. Packs exist for India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK and the US. Elsewhere you add your own property types and choose metric or imperial units. Can we change the property types the pack adds?
Yes. They are ordinary records: rename them, change the size ranges, or archive the ones you do not use.Related features
