Styles applied to the whole house

Apply a style such as Modern, Scandinavian or Indian Contemporary to the whole design in one click, or room by room. Offer each room in Essential, Premium or Luxury with the price of each level, and let the client try them on the 3D page. Furnish a room or the house by your own rules.
PLANSScale only

The problem it solves

  • A first design for a 3 BHK takes a designer two days, and the client wants to see something after the site visit.
  • Changing the look from warm wood to industrial means touching every room, finish and curtain by hand.
  • The client asks what Premium in the bedroom would cost, and the answer comes back a week later.
  • Every designer lays out a bedroom differently, so quotes for the same flat vary.

How it works

  1. Open Rooms > Styles in the designer. Pick a style card (the one the client chose in the brief comes first) and press Whole house or This room.
  2. The style sets the paint, floors, ceiling type, light colour and the joinery's material set. It also sets furniture fabric and wood, curtains, rugs, frames, cushions and bathroom fittings.
  3. Under This room's package, see the room's type and its levels (Essential, Premium, Luxury). Each shows the difference it makes to the design's price; tap one to apply it.
  4. Press Auto-furnish room or Auto-furnish house to place the package by its rules. It places wardrobes, beds, the TV wall, sofa, rug, art, curtains, ceiling, lights, paint, floor and plants.
  5. Undo puts back what was there before the last style, package or auto-furnish. On the client's 3D page, the client tries each level and presses I'd like this.

Everything it does

Styles

  • Six to start with: Modern, Scandinavian, Indian Contemporary, Classic, Industrial, Minimal; add your own
  • What a style sets: paint and shade, floors by room type (baths their own), ceiling type and material, light colour (2700, 3000 or 4000 K). Also material set with handles, and furniture fabric and wood. Also curtain fabric, sheer, pleat and rod finish, rug colours, frames and pictures, cushions, bathroom fittings
  • Whole house in one click, or This room
  • Undo keeps the last ten changes of a design

Room packages

  • Essential, Premium and Luxury per room type; level names follow your instant quote's packages
  • Room types for homes: bedroom, living, dining, kitchen, bath, study, foyer, pooja, utility, balcony. Also for offices, meeting rooms, gyms, home theatres, hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars. And commercial kitchens, shops, salons, clinics, classrooms, nurseries, lecture halls and co-working
  • The room type is found from the room's name and can be changed
  • Each level's price is worked out as the difference it makes to the design (Work out every room's level prices refreshes them)

Auto-furnish rules (no AI)

  • A wardrobe run on the longest wall free of doors and windows, with 700 mm kept clear in front
  • The bed on the wall facing the door, with side tables. A TV wall on the longest closed wall, the sofa facing it, a centre table, a rug under, art above, cushions on
  • Curtains on every window, falling to the sill behind a sofa or bed, or a blind where something tall stands
  • The ceiling by the level, Auto-place lights, paint and floor, plants in free corners; showers, tubs, niches and accessories in baths
  • Door swings kept clear; hand-placed boxes of other uses and things of other families stay
  • Air conditioning, heating and fans by the entity's climate settings at Premium and Luxury

The client's side

  • The 3D page shows the room's levels with the difference each makes; a tap tries it (nothing is kept)
  • I'd like this keeps the wish on the room and posts it on the design; the designer sees it in the Styles tab
  • Only the designer applies a level; trying one on the client page takes a few seconds

Questions

Does auto-furnish use AI?

No. It follows the rules in your room packages, so the same room gets the same layout every time. A separate feature, From a picture, uses AI to read a photo into a style and package.

Can we use our own packages and prices?

Yes. The 96 starter packages and their sample rates are a start; change what each level gives a room and at what rate.

Can the client change the level themselves?

The client can try a level and see the price follow, and say I'd like this. Only the designer applies it to the design.

What if I do not like what auto-furnish did?

Press Undo. The last ten styles, packages and auto-furnish runs of a design can be undone.
