Features

Everythingon the job card.

Every feature on this page is in the product today, on the web and in the staff app. Grouped the way a workshop runs: from the keys on the counter to the group's scoreboard.

Proof, not arguments

Check-in and custody evidence

Every time the car changes hands, the shop records what it looked like. Readings and photos are never edited after they are saved.

  • Check-in in one screenStarter

Odometer, fuel in eighths (or battery % for electric cars), a dashboard photo, the walk-around photo set your shop chose, the complaint, the promised time and the customer's signature.

  • Damage mapStarter

Tap the panel on a top-view car outline, pick scratch, dent, crack, broken, paint, rust or missing, add a note and a photo. Damage found later is recorded with when and who.

  • BelongingsStarter

Spare wheel, jack, documents, floor mats, key count: listed at check-in and shown again at delivery.

  • Vehicle out and backStarter

Test drives, outside work (painter, alignment, AC), pickup, drop and transfers: who took it, why, when it is due back, with readings and photos both ways.

  • AlertsStarter

A test drive over the km limit, a fuel or battery drop above your limit, a car not back on time, a test drive without consent: the advisor and the managers hear about it.

  • Odometer going backwardsStarter

A reading lower than the last one needs a note and is flagged on the job card and the vehicle.

  • The car's timelineStarter

“Received 45,210 km at 1/2, returned 45,228 km at 1/2”: every reading in order and the km driven while the car was with you.

Only approved work is done

Estimates and approvals

Each line of the estimate is approved or declined, with how, by whom and when. Only approved lines are worked and invoiced.

  • Approval per lineStarter

In person, by phone, by message or on the customer's job page, recorded with who and when.

  • Standing approvalStarter

Asked at check-in: ask for each item, approved up to an amount, or fix everything. Work found below the amount goes ahead; above it, the line waits for the customer.

  • Work found and work addedStarter

Each line keeps where it came from: the estimate, found during the work, or added by the customer. More work later stays on the same job card, on a further invoice.

  • Stage checksStarter

No work before an approved line, no “ready” with tasks open, no delivery without the reading and the invoice. A workshop manager can move it anyway, with a reason.

  • Declined last timeGrowth

Work declined on the last visit shows on the vehicle and the next job card: propose it again or mark it not needed.

No more “is my car ready?” calls

Customer job page and messages

The customer gets a link to their job: no app, no login. Messages go by WhatsApp, else SMS, else email.

  • Job page by linkStarter

Status and promised time in plain words, the estimate with prices and taxes, check-in, work and delivery photos, damage, readings and km driven while with you, invoices.

  • Approve on the phoneStarter

Approve or decline each line or all of them, with a name and a typed signature. Extra work found waits there too.

  • Pay onlineStarter

“Pay now” through the payment providers of your branch; the payment lands on the invoice.

  • Messages at every stepStarter

Checked in, estimate ready, extra work found, waiting on you, ready for pickup, delivered with the invoice, payment received (part payments say what is left), came back.

  • Inspection and booking on the pageGrowth

The finished inspection with its lights, measurements and photos; “Book a visit” for one of their vehicles.

  • A link that stays privateStarter

It opens that job card only, ends 30 days after delivery by default, and can be turned off or replaced.

Every minute on the board

Workshop: tasks, inspections, bays, floor board

Work is split into tasks with Start / Pause / Done timers, checked with traffic-light inspections, booked into bays and shown on a screen on the wall.

  • Tasks and timersStarter

Approved services become tasks with planned hours. Start, pause, done; one running timer per person. An advisor can time a mechanic who has no login.

  • Technician hoursStarter

Planned against actual hours per person, My Tasks, a workload board.

  • Quality check send-backStarter

Send a job back from quality check: the task to redo is reopened and send-backs are reported per technician.

  • On hold, and whyStarter

Waiting on the customer, a supplier, the insurer or your side, with days counted. Time lost waiting on the customer is not counted against the shop.

  • InspectionsGrowth

Pass / attention / fail, measurements with limits (tyre tread in mm, brake pads in %, battery volts), notes and a photo per item. A 26-point checklist comes ready.

  • Recommended work in one clickGrowth

Attention and fail items become work found, approved like any other work.

  • Appointments and bay calendarGrowth

Book by bay with opening hours and capacity, warnings on double booking, reminders the day before; “Arrived” opens the job card and check-in.

  • Floor TV boardGrowth

A screen for the workshop: plates, models, technicians, promised times (overdue in red), holds, waiting for parts, today's arrivals. Refreshes by itself.

  • Rework and warrantyStarter

“Came back” opens a linked rework job card; within the warranty days and km it is free to the customer and counted as rework cost. A root cause is required.

Storage that pays

Storage charges

When you switch it on for a branch (it is off until you do): a car left after the work is done, or brought in only to be stored, is charged by the night, and the customer is told before charges start.

  • Storage after workStarter

Free days after the car is ready (3 by default, counted by the night), then a daily rate, or the rate for the vehicle's category, up to a maximum if you set one.

  • The customer is toldStarter

A message the day before free storage ends, with the daily rate, and another when charges start. Their job page shows it growing.

  • Waived, with a reasonStarter

When the delay was the shop's, a workshop manager waives storage or takes days off; the reason is recorded on the job card.

  • Storage job cardsStarter

A car brought in only to be stored: checked in with the usual photos, readings and signature, shown as “Stored”, charged by the day or by the month.

  • Billed at pickup or every monthStarter

One bill at pickup, or an invoice at the end of every full month; an advance taken at check-in pays them. An agreed end date, with a reminder before it.

  • On the job page and in the appStarter

Free until, the rate, the maximum, the next bill and what is charged so far, for the customer on their link and for staff on the phone.

  • Off until you switch it onStarter

Each branch turns storage after work and storage job cards on separately. While they are off, nothing is added and no message goes.
