Job card
Job card board by stage, with list and calendar
See every car in the shop on one board, a column per stage. Each card shows the plate, the customer, the promised time and labels for approval, alerts, holds, vehicles out and reworks. Switch to a list, a calendar, a pivot or a chart.
PlansEvery plan
The problem it solves
- The advisor walks the floor to find out which cars are waiting for the customer and which are ready.
- A car promised for today is noticed late in the evening.
- A test drive alert or a car waiting on a part is lost in a list of fifty job cards.
- The owner cannot see at a glance how many cars are in each stage.
How it works
- 01
Open Garage > Workshop > Jobs > Board. Each open job card is a card in the column of its stage.
- 02
Read the labels on each card: To approve, Partly approved, Vehicle out, Alert, Rework, Stored, "Waiting on ...", and the number of open tasks.
- 03
Drag a card to another column to move it. The stage checks run first; if something is missing, the card stays and you are told what.
- 04
Search by job card number, plate, customer name or mobile. Or use a filter such as Late or Waiting for Approval.
- 05
Switch to the list, the calendar of promised times, or the pivot and chart to count job cards by stage, bay, technician or month.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can we add our own columns?
Yes. Add a stage of the kind it belongs to, for example a second In Progress stage called "Paint booth". The board shows it as a column.
Why did a card not move when I dragged it?
A stage check failed, for example the vehicle is not checked in or tasks are not done. The message says what is missing.
Can each advisor see only their cars?
Use the My Job Cards menu or filter. Everyone with a garage role sees the job cards of their branch.
Is there a screen for the workshop TV?
Yes, with Growth: the floor TV board opens by a private link without a login and shows plates, technicians and promised times.

Job cards per visit: service, repair, body and paint, detailing, inspectionEvery plan
Each visit gets one job card with the vehicle, the customer and the kind of work. It also holds the service advisor, the lead technician, the bay and the promised time. Check-in, estimate, tasks, holds, invoice and delivery all hang off it, and every step is noted on it.
Stage checks before in progress, ready and deliveredEvery plan
A job card moves on only when the work allows it. The car is checked in before work, work is approved before In Progress, tasks are done before Ready, and the invoice is confirmed before Delivered. When there is a good reason, a workshop manager moves it anyway and writes why.
Floor TV board for the workshopFrom Growth
Put the workshop on a TV, by stage or by bay. Each car shows its plate, model, technician and promised time, with late cars in red and holds marked. The screen opens by a private link with no login and refreshes by itself.
Alerts when a test drive goes too far, fuel drops or the car is late backEvery plan
Your advisor and workshop managers are told at once about a test drive over its limit. They also hear about a fuel or battery drop beyond what you allow, or a car late back. A test drive without the customer's consent is stopped before it starts.
On hold by who it waits on, the customer's own parts and waiting timeEvery plan
Put a job card on hold with why and who it waits on: the customer, a supplier, the insurer or your own side. Holds for the customer's own parts, special orders and insurance claims start and end by themselves. The Waiting Time report shows where the days go.
