Across SmartMy Garage
Dashboards
SmartMy Garage opens on a ready dashboard. It counts cars in the workshop, waiting for approval, ready and delivered, with charts of jobs by stage and billing by kind of job. Each number is counted for the person looking, for the branches they work in.
PlansEvery plan
The problem it solves
- The owner walks the floor to count cars because no screen shows the day.
- Cars waiting for the customer's approval are forgotten until the customer calls.
- Nobody knows which kind of work brings the money in.
How it works
- 01
Open Garage. The first menu is the Dashboard, for everyone with a Garage role.
- 02
Read the tiles across the top: In the workshop, Waiting approval, Ready for delivery and Delivered.
- 03
Below, Jobs by stage shows open job cards by stage. Billed by kind shows what delivered jobs billed, per kind of job.
- 04
Pick a date range for the dated items. Click a tile or a bar to open the job cards behind it.
- 05
Press edit to move, resize, add or remove items; the layout you set is yours. Make a private copy to build your own.
Everything it does
The Garage dashboard (every plan)
- In the workshop: job cards past booking and not yet ready or delivered
- Waiting approval: job cards with work waiting for the customer
- Ready for delivery: job cards in Ready
- Delivered: job cards delivered in the date range
- Jobs by stage (bar chart) and Billed by kind (pie chart of delivered job cards' totals)
Other ready screens
- Growth: the counter's dashboard: sales, orders, discounts given, registers open, sales by day and by register
- Growth: the floor TV board for the workshop (its own page)
- Enterprise: head office scorecards across branches (its own page)
- Reports under Garage > Reports open as pivots and charts
What you can do on a dashboard
- Refresh, and edit on a 12-column grid saved as your own layout
- Add a number tile, a chart or a list on any data you can open, such as job cards on hold or appointments today
- Tiles compare with the period before
- Make a private copy, or set one as your dashboard; shared dashboards also show in the Dashboard app
Who uses it
Where you use it
- Web: Garage > Dashboard, and the Dashboard app
- Not in the SmartMy Garage app: the app opens on the board or My Tasks
- Not on the customer's pages
What you control
Settings
- Your own layout
- Which dashboard opens for you
- Who a shared dashboard is shared with; the Garage dashboard starts shared with the Garage roles
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does a technician see the whole branch's money?
Every number is counted as the person looking, with their access. Unshare the dashboard from a role if you want it for managers only.
Can I see all my branches together?
Yes. Tick the branches you work in and the dashboard counts them all. Enterprise adds head office scorecards that compare branches.
Can I add my own tiles?
Yes. In edit mode add a number, a chart or a list on data you can open. Make a private copy first to keep the shared one as it is.
Which plan has it?
Every plan, from Starter.

Head office scorecards across branchesEnterprise only
Head office sees one scorecard per branch and month. It shows job cards, revenue split into labour and parts, average repair order, labour efficiency, comeback rate and approval rate. Compare branches for any dates with a group total, follow the trends, and give head office staff a role that only reads.
Floor TV board for the workshopFrom Growth
Put the workshop on a TV, by stage or by bay. Each car shows its plate, model, technician and promised time, with late cars in red and holds marked. The screen opens by a private link with no login and refreshes by itself.
Job cost and margin per job cardFrom Growth
See what each job really cost and earned. Labour comes from the task timers at each employee's hourly cost, parts and supplies at their cost when issued, and revenue from the billable lines.
