Selling screen in the browser
Point of Sale > Counter > Sell opens a full selling screen in the browser of a counter PC or tablet. It has a product grid with categories and favourites, and search by name, code or barcode. It also has a cart, split payment with a keypad, and a receipt to print. A cart can be parked and resumed on the same browser.

The problem it solves
- Typing a sale line by line in a back-office form is too slow with a queue at the counter.
- A barcode scanner and a keyboard should be enough; installing a special till program on every PC is not.
- A customer steps away to fetch one more item and the next customer is kept waiting.
- Cashiers lose time moving between screens for cash moves, refunds and closing.
How it works
- Open Point of Sale > Counter > Sell. If the register is closed, count the cash to open it. On a shared counter, choose your name and type your PIN.
- Add products: click them in the grid, narrow by category or Favourites, or type part of the name, code or barcode. A USB scanner adds the product at once.
- Change quantities with minus and plus, choose or add the customer, and give a line or bill discount with a reason.
- Click Pay (or F12). Pick the payment methods (F1, F2 and on choose them in order), and type the cash handed over or the reference. Split across methods as needed.
- Tick Invoice for a tax invoice, and WhatsApp or Email to send the receipt to a chosen customer. Click Complete sale (Enter).
- Print the receipt with the browser's print box and click Next Customer. Park keeps a cart aside; Parked brings it back.

- Totals: You save, On the house, Taxes and Total
- Messages under the total: Supervisor needed or Manager needed with the reason, a discount still needing its reason
- Buttons at the top: Parked, Take Deposit and Pay Back Deposit (Scale), Orders, Cash In / Out, Close Session
- An Online or Offline marker; the screen needs the network to sell
- Promotion badges and hints such as one unit short of a free one (Scale)
Paying
- Split payment in any mix of the register's methods; only cash can be more than due, and the change is shown
- Card terminals: the amount goes to the linked machine and the sale is paid on approval (Growth)
- Gift cards, deposits and points on the same screen (Scale)
- Supervisor or manager approval in the same box, by login and password or by PIN on a shared counter
Parked carts
- Kept in that browser, for that register, with the time, customer and total
- Not seen on another computer or in the app, and not orders yet
- Lost on reload in a private browser window
- Closing the session does not look at them: resume or empty them first
Keys
- F2: search or scan; F12: pay
- On the payment screen: F1, F2 and on pick the payment methods in order; Enter completes the sale; Esc goes back
