Customer price lists at the register
Members, staff and trade customers who have their own price list get its prices at the counter as soon as they are chosen. Each register decides which customer price lists it honours.
PLANSFrom Growth
The problem it solves
- Club members and staff are promised a lower price, and the cashier works it out with a calculator.
- A dealer's rate is honoured at the main shop but should not be at the airport kiosk.
- The member price is right on the web but wrong in the app when the signal is down.
How it works
- Accounts give each customer their price list on the customer's form, in the usual price list field.
- The POS Administrator opens a register and adds those price lists to Customer Price Lists Honoured.
- At the counter the cashier chooses the customer. If that customer's price list is on the register, the cart is repriced with it.
- Quantity breaks of the customer's list apply too.
- Every other customer, and the walk-in customer, gets the register's own Price List.
Everything it does
The rule
- The customer's price list is used only when it is in the register's Customer Price Lists Honoured
- A list not on the register is ignored there, so one store can honour member prices and another not
- The order keeps the price list it was sold at
Where it applies
- In the back office: choosing the customer on the order changes its price list
- On the web counter (Growth) and in the app, where the price lists honoured are kept on the device
- Offline the app prices with the customer's list and its quantity breaks, as the server does
Together with other rules
- A discount typed by the cashier is judged against the customer's price, not the register's
- The receipt's "You saved" counts only what is under the customer's price
Who uses it
Accounts or POS AdministratorGives customers their price lists and lists them on the registers.

Questions
Does the member price show before we choose the customer?

No. Starter uses each register's own price list. Customer price lists start in Growth.Does it work without signal?
