Add-ons sold with a ticket: meals, parking, merchandise

Sell food coupons, T-shirts in sizes or parking with the tickets. Each add-on has its price, tax and limit. It is handed over once at the event, against the QR of any ticket of the order.
PLANSFrom Growth

The problem it solves

  • Food coupons are sold on paper at a separate table and the money is counted twice.
  • T-shirt sizes are collected on a form and half of them are wrong.
  • People collect two meals with one coupon because nobody marks it as used.

How it works

  1. On the event's Add-ons tab, add a line: name, What it Is, Price and Tax, a Limit and the Maximum per Order.
  2. Add Options where the buyer must choose, such as S, M and L, or Veg and Non-veg.
  3. On the order form, the buyer picks add-ons under Add to your order. They are paid with the tickets.
  4. At the event, staff open Hand over add-ons, scan any ticket of the order or type the order or mobile number, and hand over.
  5. Each add-on is handed over once. If it was already collected, the screen says when and by whom.

Everything it does

An add-on

  • Name, What it Is, Price (0 means free) and Tax (the Entity's default tax to start with)
  • Limit: the most sold, 0 for no limit; For the Whole Event (to start with) or Per Session
  • Maximum per Order: 10 to start with; 0 means no limit
  • Options: one choice per add-on bought, such as a size
  • Income account per add-on, else the event's Add-on Income Account, else the ticket income account

Buying

  • Only with at least one ticket in the same order
  • Chosen on the order form, at the counter and in the app; not listed on the event page itself
  • No promo discount and no SmartMy fee on add-ons
  • A free ticket with a paid add-on needs payment

Handing over

  • By the counter sellers, gate staff and organisers named on the event, and event managers
  • Against the QR or number of any ticket of the order, the order number or the buyer's mobile
  • Set how many are given now; the rest stays to collect
  • A hand-over records who, when and against which ticket, and cannot be undone

After the sale

  • Add-ons Bought (filter To Hand over) and Handed over lists
  • Add-ons report: sold, held, given back, handed over, still to hand over and the amount
  • Add-ons not handed over can be given back with a refund, in full
