Each student has a fee ledger: what was charged, what was paid, what is still due. The counter takes cash, cheque and bank payments against the oldest dues first. Receipts carry a QR code, the cashier closes the day, and receipts go to the accounts. The export to Tally is set up and tested with you before go-live.

Questions accountants ask

Can parents pay online?

Yes, on the app and the portal, through the payment gateway account you connect, and the receipt is made at once. Online payment has been tried with a test provider, not yet at a school.

What happens when a cheque bounces?

The receipt is marked bounced and the dues it paid are open again. The reason stays on the receipt.
