Product reviews with photos

Buyers rate a product from 1 to 5 stars, write a review and add up to three photos. You choose who may review and whether reviews wait for your OK, reply under any review, and the rating shows to search engines.
PLANSFrom Growth

The problem it solves

  • New buyers have nothing but your own words to go on, so they buy elsewhere.
  • Happy customers send praise on WhatsApp, where nobody else sees it.
  • A fake one-star review appears and you cannot answer or remove it.
  • Photos from real buyers would sell the product better than studio shots, but there is nowhere to put them.

How it works

  1. A Website Manager sets two things in Shop settings: Who may review products, and New reviews wait for my OK before they show.
  2. On a product page a buyer presses Write a review and picks the stars. They add a title, the review, up to three photos, a name and an email.
  3. A review from an email that paid for this product on the site is marked Verified buyer.
  4. The people who follow the website are told; the review appears in Website > Shop > Customer Activity > Reviews, on Waiting when it needs your OK.
  5. Open it, write a Reply From the Shop if you wish, and press Show on the Site or Hide.
  6. The product page shows the average, the count, the reviews with photos and your replies; other visitors press Helpful.

Questions

Can I stop people who never bought from reviewing?

Yes. Set Who may review products to Only people who bought it. The email must have paid for that product on your site.

Can I remove a bad review?

You can hide any review, and with reviews waiting for your OK nothing shows until you press Show on the Site. You can also reply under it instead.

Do the stars show on Google?

Each product page carries its average rating, count and latest reviews in the product details search engines read. Whether Google shows stars is up to Google.

Can I import our old reviews?

Not yet. Reviews come from the product pages of your site.
