Order tracking, receipts and buy again
Every order gets its own page: steps from placed to delivered, the tracking link, a receipt with your tax number, and Buy it again. Your team marks it sent and delivered on the sales order, and the buyer is emailed each time.
PLANSFrom Growth
The problem it solves
- Buyers call and message to ask where their parcel is.
- The tracking number is sent by hand on WhatsApp, when someone remembers.
- A buyer needs a receipt with your GSTIN for their office and you make one by hand.
- A regular customer wants the same order again and has to find every item.
How it works
- After checkout the buyer lands on the order page; online payments also email them a confirmation.
- The page shows the steps Order placed, Confirmed, On its way and Delivered, and how to pay for UPI or cash on delivery.
- When you send it, open the sales order, Website tab, Delivery: fill Carrier, Tracking Number and Tracking Link, and press Mark as Sent.
- The buyer gets Website Order Sent with the carrier, number and order page link. The page now has a Track the parcel button.
- When it arrives, press Mark as Delivered. The buyer is emailed with a way to review or return.
- From the order page the buyer prints the receipt or saves it as PDF. Buy it again fills the cart with the same items.

Questions
Does tracking update from the courier by itself?
No. You paste the courier's tracking link and number; the buyer follows the parcel on the courier's site. The steps on the order page move when you press Mark as Sent and Mark as Delivered. How does a buyer find the order page again?
From the link in the Website Order Sent and Delivered emails, or under Your orders in their account when members are on. The payment confirmation email does not carry the link yet, so buyers should keep the page open or bookmarked. Is the receipt a GST invoice?
No. It is a receipt with your tax number and the tax on the order. Make the tax invoice from the sales order in SmartMy as for any sale.Do cash on delivery buyers get an email?
