Notifications

SmartMy Website tells your team the moment a form entry, booking, order, return, review or question comes in. Buyers and visitors get their codes, bookings, orders and alerts by email.
PLANSEvery plan

The problem it solves

  • An enquiry from the website waits two days because nobody looks at the inbox.
  • A table booking comes in and the restaurant finds out when the guest arrives.
  • Buyers phone to ask whether their order has been sent.
  • When someone says they never got the email, nobody can check what was sent.

How it works

  1. Follow the site: Website > Websites > the site > Follow, or add the people who should hear about it as followers. Nobody follows a site until you add them.
  2. Something happens on the site: a form is sent, a table is booked, an order is paid, a buyer asks to return an item.
  3. The followers are told at once on every channel of the event: by email, in the app inbox and as a phone notification.
  4. Buyers and visitors get their own messages by email: a sign-in code, a booking confirmation, order sent with tracking, an answer to their return.
  5. Every message leaves a line in the Delivery Log, with the reason when it could not be sent.

Everything it does

To your team (the people who follow the site)

  • Website Form Entry: a form was sent or someone signed up (every plan)
  • Website Booking: a visitor booked (Growth)
  • Website Order Paid: paid online, also to the buyer; Website Order Placed: cash on delivery or UPI or bank transfer (Growth)
  • Website Return Request, Website Product Review and Website Product Question (Growth)
  • Each by email, in the app and as a phone notification

To buyers and visitors, by email (Growth)

  • Website Sign-in Code; Website Booking Confirmation when the guest gave an email
  • Website Order Paid; Website Order Sent with the tracking link; Website Order Delivered with the way to review or return
  • Website Return Answered; Website Question Answered
  • Website Product Back in Stock and Website Product Price Drop, when an alert they asked for comes true
  • Unpaid Cart Reminder: once, two hours after a payment was left unfinished

To buyers, by email (Scale)

  • Website Subscription Started, Website Subscription Reminder and Website Subscription Order
  • Website Automatic Payment Set Up, Notice (before each charge), Failed, Gave Up and Turned Off

Approvals

  • Request Waits for Your Approval: to the approvers of a return request, as a phone notification, by email and in the app

Delivery and people's own choices

  • Every Website event is a work message sent at once, at any hour, except Unpaid Cart Reminder. That one is promotional: it waits for the Entity's quiet hours to end and can be switched off per person
  • A person can switch off a channel, such as email, for themselves; in-app notices always arrive
  • Delivery Log: every message with its status and, when not sent, why; Retry and Cancel for administrators
  • Templates per event, channel and language, with your own wording if you want it

Questions

Why did nobody get told about a form entry?

Nobody follows the site yet. Open Website > Websites > the site and press Follow, or add followers there.

Do buyers get a message when they order with cash on delivery?

Not when the order is placed: they see the order page. Their first email is Website Order Sent. Online payments get Website Order Paid at once.

Can we send WhatsApp or SMS to buyers?

No Website event uses WhatsApp or SMS today. Buyers get email; your team gets email, in-app and phone notifications.

Can someone stop getting emails but keep the app notices?

Yes. Each person can switch the email channel off for themselves. In-app notices always arrive.

How do I check whether a buyer got an email?

Open Notifications > Delivery Log. Each message shows its status, and the reason when it was not sent, such as a missing email address.
