Social analytics and the best times to post
Every night SmartMy reads each connected page's and Instagram account's followers, reach and engagement from Meta. It also reads the results of your posts from the last 30 days. A day-by-hour table shows when your posts do best.
PLANSFrom Growth
Connects once Meta approves SmartMy's Meta app (App Review); tested with you before go-live. Built and tried on our test systems, not yet with a customer's Meta account.
The problem it solves
- You open each page's insights one by one and still cannot compare them.
- Nobody knows which posts worked last month.
- Posts go out whenever someone is free, not when people are looking.
How it works
- Connect your pages and accounts; nothing else to set.
- Each night the day's followers, reach and engagement are read for every account.
- The results of posts published in the last 30 days are read too: reach, likes, comments, shares and engagement.
- Open Social > Analytics > Accounts for a line chart of followers and a list by day.
- Open Social > Analytics > Post Results for each post's numbers and the Best Times table, day by hour.
Everything it does
Accounts
- One row a day per account: followers, reach, engagement
- A line chart of followers and a list by day
Post results
- Posts published through SmartMy in the last 30 days
- Reach, likes, comments, shares; engagement counts likes, comments, shares and saves
- The day of the week and the hour each post went out
- Best Times: a pivot of engagement by day and hour
Good to know
- A number Meta does not give for an account stays 0
- Posts published outside SmartMy are not in Post Results
- Read once a night

Questions
Does it include posts we made directly on Facebook?
No. Post Results covers posts published through SmartMy; the account rows cover the whole account. How fresh are the numbers?
They are read once a night, so today's numbers show tomorrow. Can I compare two pages?
Yes. Accounts lists every connected page and Instagram account by day, so you can filter or group them side by side. Why is a number 0?
Meta does not give every number for every account. Those stay 0 rather than being guessed.Related features
