Dashboards

Manufacturing opens on ready dashboards for each role. The supervisor sees what is running and waiting for material, and the planner sees the order book. Job work, quality and maintenance each have their own. Every number is counted for the person looking, and a click opens the records behind it.
PLANSEvery plan

The problem it solves

  • The morning meeting starts with someone walking the floor to count which orders are running.
  • Nobody can say how much material sits at job workers without opening every challan.
  • Failed checks and open breakdowns are found in three registers, after the shift.

How it works

  1. Open Manufacturing. Each role finds the dashboards shared with it: Shop Floor for supervisors, Plant for planners and managers, Job Work for both.
  2. With Growth, Quality joins for inspectors and Maintenance for technicians and managers, and the Shop Floor and Quality apps open on their own dashboards.
  3. Each tile and chart is counted as the person looking, for the Entities and plants they work in.
  4. Click a tile or a bar to open the orders, challans or checks behind it.
  5. Press edit to move, resize, add or remove items; the layout you set is yours. Make a private copy to build your own.

Everything it does

Every plan

  • Shop Floor (supervisors): orders in progress, work orders running and ready, waiting for material, orders finished with a small trend line. Scrap, your activities, and work orders by station
  • Plant (planners and managers): orders to start, in progress, waiting for material, to close. Orders by state, open orders by product, and orders finished per day
  • Job Work (supervisors and planners): challans at job workers, partly back, challans to send, goods received back. What is out by job worker and by process
  • Today in the app: open orders and late orders, for supervisors and above

Growth and Scale

  • Quality (inspectors): checks to do, passed, failed, open non-conformances, failed checks by item and checks per day
  • Maintenance (technicians and managers): open breakdowns, planned jobs open, jobs done, active plans, open requests by machine and requests per day
  • The Shop Floor app's Dashboard: good output, rejects, orders in progress, orders late, output by day and rejects by reason
  • The Quality app's Dashboard: checks to do, passed, failed, open non-conformances, checks by result and non-conformances by source

What you can do on a dashboard

  • Refresh, and edit on a 12-column grid saved as your own layout
  • Add a number tile, a chart or a list on any data you can open
  • Make a private copy, or set one as your dashboard
  • Shared dashboards also show in the Dashboard app

What each person sees

  • Numbers are counted with the viewer's own access, so a supervisor allowed in one plant sees that plant
  • Tick several Entities on the web to see them counted together
  • The ready dashboards are made once; your later changes are kept when the product is updated

Who uses it

SupervisorWatches what is running, ready, short of material and scrapped on the Shop Floor dashboard.
Planner and Production ManagerFollow the order book, orders to close and daily output on the Plant dashboard, and job work.
Quality inspector and managerSee checks waiting and failed, and open non-conformances (Growth).
Maintenance technicianSees open breakdowns and planned jobs by machine (Growth).

Where you use it

  • Web: Manufacturing (Shop Floor, Plant, Job Work, Quality, Maintenance), the Shop Floor and Quality apps, and the Dashboard app
  • The SmartMy Manufacturing app: Today for managers, planners and supervisors, on phones (built and in testing, not in the app stores yet)
  • Not on the shop floor terminal: operators see their jobs, not dashboards
  • The machine board on a TV is part of OEE, in Scale

What you control

Settings

  • Your own layout
  • Which dashboard opens for you
  • Who a shared dashboard is shared with (administrators); each ready dashboard starts shared with the roles named above

Questions

Does every supervisor see every plant?

Numbers are counted with the person's own access, so they follow the Entities and plants that person is allowed in.

Can I add my own tiles?

Yes. In edit mode add a number, a chart or a list on data you can open. Make a private copy first to keep the shared one as it is.

Is there a dashboard on the phone?

The SmartMy Manufacturing app opens on Today for managers, planners and supervisors, with open and late orders. The app is built and in testing, not in the app stores yet.

Which plan has it?

Every plan, from Starter. Quality and Maintenance dashboards come with those features in Growth.
