Learning reports: who is late, drop-off and hardest questions

See who is behind or overdue, which lesson people stop at, and which quiz questions most learners get wrong. Every report filters by course, learner and entity, and each author sees only their own courses.

The problem it solves

  • You find out who missed the mandatory training when the deadline has already passed.
  • A course has a lesson where most people give up, and nobody knows which one.
  • A quiz question is badly worded, and learners fail it batch after batch.

How it works

  1. Open Learn > Manage Courses > Reporting and pick a report.
  2. Learner Progress lists every enrolment: progress, due date, overdue, last seen and time spent. Filter Overdue to see who is late.
  3. Lesson Drop-off shows, per lesson, how many learners started it and how many finished it: where the numbers fall is where people stop.
  4. Hardest Questions shows, per question, the share of right answers. The lowest are the hardest, or the worst written.
  5. Open any row to see the learner, the attempt or the lesson behind it.

Everything it does

Learner Progress

  • Every enrolment: course, learner, status, progress %, lessons done, joined, due date, finished, last seen, time spent
  • Filters: Requests, Learning, Finished, Overdue, My Learning
  • Group by Course, Status, Learner, Came In By or Entity
  • Overdue is set each night for learning enrolments past their due date

Lesson Drop-off

  • A pivot of lessons against Started and Done
  • Filters: Started, Not Done; Done
  • Each line: learner, lesson, share watched or read, time spent, done on

Quizzes

  • Quiz Results: every attempt with score, out of, percent, passed, late and who marked it
  • Hardest Questions: average share right per question, on marked answers; group by question, kind or entity

Questions

How do I see who is late on the safety course?

Open Reporting > Learners and Courses > Learner Progress, filter Overdue and search the course. Each row shows the due date, progress and when the person was last seen.

How do I find where people give up?

Open Lesson Drop-off for the course. Compare Started and Done per lesson; the lesson where the count falls is where people stop.

What does Hardest Questions show?

For each question, the share of answers that were right. A question few get right is either hard or badly written; read it again.

Can a trainer see other trainers' learners?

No. Learn Authors see the learners of their own courses. Learn Managers see the whole entity.
