Receipts and token slips on thermal printers
The counter tablet prints receipts, token slips and kitchen tickets on network thermal printers that take ESC/POS. On cash sales it opens the cash drawer through the receipt printer. Printers are set up once in the back office and reach every tablet.
PLANSEvery plan
The printing is built and checked by automated tests, but has not yet printed on a real printer. We test your printer model with you before go-live.
The problem it solves
- Bills are written by hand at rush hour and do not match the day's total.
- Meal tokens on plain paper are copied and used twice.
- The cash drawer is left open all day because nothing opens it at a sale.
How it works
- A Food Administrator adds each printer under Food Service > Counters > Counters and Devices > Printers. Each has a kind, a network address, a paper width and the tablets that use it.
- The tablets get the printers at their next sync.
- After a paid sale the receipt prints on the receipt printers. A cash sale opens the drawer connected to the printer.
- Tokens sold print with their QR code: on the token slip printer if there is one, otherwise on the receipt.
- Kitchen tickets print on the printers of their station (Growth). A kiosk prints its pay-at-the-counter slip.
- If a printer does not answer, the tablet says so and the sale is still recorded.

COUNTERBill numbers without gapsEvery paid bill gets the next number of its counter's series, such as MAINC1/26/000123, restarting each financial year. Tablets reserve blocks of numbers to number bills offline. Every unused number is listed as void, so the series has no holes.SELLINGMeal tokens and couponsSell a single meal token, a pack of 20 meals or a value coupon. Each is valid for a set time, at chosen outlets and sessions. Every token has its own code, printed as a QR on the slip. The counter serves it from the slip or the holder's card.TABLE SERVICE AND KITCHENKitchen screens and station ticketsEach kitchen station sees its tickets on a tablet or prints them on its own printer. A tap moves a ticket from new to preparing, ready and done. Late tickets turn red, and a ticket cleared by mistake can be recalled.COUNTERShifts, cash count and X and Z reportsEach cashier opens a shift with the cash in the drawer and records cash in and out with a reason. At closing they count by note and coin. The system works out the expected cash, the shortage or excess and the X and Z reports.PAYINGCash, card and UPI paymentsTake cash, UPI and card at the counter, along with the wallet, tokens and the other payment modes your outlet allows. UPI shows a QR code for the exact amount, and every payment goes to its own journal for the day's takings.PORTAL AND APPSCounter app for tabletsSmartMy Feast Counter turns a tablet into the canteen's counter. Cashiers log in with a PIN and serve plan and token meals by scanning a card or app QR. They sell items, top up wallets, void with a supervisor and close the shift with a cash count.
