EMI plans on product pages
Show monthly instalment plans on your dearer products: the months, the interest, the no-cost months and the lowest monthly amount. The buyer then chooses EMI on your payment company's page.
PLANSScale only
The problem it solves
- A 40,000 sofa looks out of reach until the buyer knows it is about 3,500 a month.
- Buyers ask on WhatsApp whether you offer EMI and on which cards.
- The EMI choice is only seen at the very last payment step, when many buyers have already left.
How it works
- In the Shop tab > Shop settings, turn on Show EMI plans on product pages.
- Set the lowest product price for EMI, the months, the yearly interest and the no-cost months.
- Products at or above that price show "EMI available" with a See plans button.
- See plans opens a table of each plan: months, the amount a month, the interest and the total.
- At payment, the buyer chooses EMI on the payment company's page, with the card or pay-later offer it has for your account.
Everything it does
Settings
- Show EMI plans on product pages: off to start with
- EMI only for products from this price: 3,000
- EMI months: 3, 6, 9, 12 (any from 2 to 60)
- EMI interest, % a year: 15
- No-cost EMI months: 3 (no interest shown for those months)
On the product page
- A line under the price, and See plans
- A table per plan: months, a month, interest, total
- In the visitor's currency when you sell in more than one
What it does not do
- It does not lend or collect instalments; the payment company or the card issuer does
- It does not read your payment company's real EMI rates; keep the settings in line with your account

Questions
Does SmartMy run the EMI?
No. SmartMy shows the plans on the product page. The buyer chooses EMI on your payment company's page, so your account must offer it.Can I offer no-cost EMI?
Yes. List the months in No-cost EMI months, and the table shows them without interest. Agree the cost of that with your payment company. Why do cheap products not show EMI?
Only products at or above EMI only for products from this price show it. The default is 3,000.Related features
