Colour sets and fonts for the whole site

Change the colours and fonts of the whole site in one go. Pick one of 24 colour sets and 21 font pairs, change any colour, and set how titles, buttons and cards look. The editor warns when colours are too alike to read, and the site keeps text readable by itself.
PLANSEvery plan

The problem it solves

  • Changing the brand colour means hunting through every page for every button.
  • Someone picks pale grey text on white and half the visitors cannot read it.
  • Fonts from outside services slow the site and send visitors' details to another company.
  • The site's buttons, cards and titles each look different because they were styled one by one.

How it works

  1. Open the editor's Design tab.
  2. Under Colour sets, click a set under Light or Dark to try it on the page at once.
  3. Under Colours, change single colours: accent (buttons and links), second accent (gradients), background, soft background, text and dark sections.
  4. Under Fonts, pick a pair: one font for titles and one for text.
  5. Under Style, set titles, accent words, buttons, cards, spacing and the rest for the whole site. A manager publishes when it looks right.

Everything it does

Colours

  • 24 colour sets, grouped Light and Dark
  • Own colours: accent, second accent, background, soft background, text and dark sections
  • The editor warns when text and background are too alike to read, or when the accent and background are too alike for buttons to show
  • The published site then uses a darker or lighter shade until you change it
  • Light and dark versions of each set: see Light and dark mode

Fonts

  • 21 font pairs, such as Modern, Editorial, Friendly, Classic, Luxury, Swiss, Rounded and Poster
  • All fonts are served from your own site, not from an outside font service
  • With the brand kit (Growth): upload your own fonts, WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF up to 3 MB, and use them for titles or text

Style switches for the whole site

  • Titles: Normal, Heavy or Capitals, with a second title line in another colour
  • Accent words: accent colour, gradient, faded or outline
  • Small line above titles: plain, with a line, typewriter or pill
  • Cards: thin border, shadow, flat, glass or glow
  • Button shape: square, rounded, pill or slanted; button fill: solid, gradient or outline
  • Animation: still, gentle or lively; spacing: tight, normal or airy
  • Big numbers (01, 02): solid, outline or faded; background texture: none, film grain, soft glow or colour mesh

Beyond the switches

  • Page frame: the whole site in a rounded card, or menu in a column on the left. Or every section a floating card, or a thin line around the screen
  • Page width: standard, wide or full
  • Your own CSS in the Site tab, added after the design's styles
  • Any single heading or button can be styled on its own

Who uses it

Website EditorPicks colours, fonts and style switches, and adds own CSS.
Website ManagerPublishes the new look; uploads own fonts with the brand kit.

Where you use it

  • Web: the editor's Design tab (colours, fonts, style) and Site tab (page frame, your own CSS)
  • Not on a phone: the editor runs on a computer

What you control

Settings

  • Colour set and font pair: those of the design you started from
  • Style switches: as the colour set and design set them; where a set says nothing, normal titles, thin-border cards, solid buttons and Gentle animation

Questions

Can I use my brand colours exactly?

Yes. Type or pick each colour under Colours. With the brand kit on Growth, Take colours from the logo sets them from your logo.

What if my brand colour is hard to read on white?

The editor tells you. The published site uses a darker or lighter shade of it so text and buttons stay readable, until you choose another colour.

Do the fonts come from Google Fonts?

No. Every font is served from your own site, so visitors' browsers do not call an outside font service.

Can I use my own font?

Yes, from Growth, with the brand kit: upload WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF files up to 3 MB. Use only fonts you have the right to use on a website.
