Collections with a page for each item

Keep your own lists, such as the team, properties, jobs, case studies or services, with your own fields. Every published item gets its own page, and a Collection list section shows the items anywhere on the site.
PLANSFrom Growth

The problem it solves

  • Each new team member or property means copying a page by hand and fixing the menu.
  • Listings look different on every page because each one was typed separately.
  • Search engines see one long page instead of a page per listing.

How it works

  1. Open Editor > Pages tab > Collections. Start from Team, Properties, Jobs, Case studies or Services, or press + Your own.
  2. Set the name, the address of its pages (for example /team/...) and the look of an item page.
  3. Add your own fields besides title, picture, short text and page text: short text, long text, picture, link, date, number or choice.
  4. Add items: title, main picture, short text, page text and the collection's fields. Tick Show on the site.
  5. Put a Collection list section on any page as cards, a list or a table, with 3, 6, 9, 12 or all items.
  6. Publish. Each item opens at /<collection>/<item>, and /<collection> lists them all.

Everything it does

Ready-made starts

  • Team: role, email, LinkedIn
  • Properties: price, area, bedrooms, size, status (For sale, For rent, Sold)
  • Jobs: where, type (Full time, Part time, Contract, Internship), apply link
  • Case studies: client, year, result
  • Services: price from, takes

Fields

  • Seven kinds: short text, long text, picture, link, date, number, choice (with its choices)
  • Up to 30 fields per collection
  • Every item also has a title, main picture, short text, page text, address and order

Item pages

  • Item page look: Picture beside the details (default), Big picture on top, or Text only
  • Each item has its own title and description for search engines
  • Breadcrumbs and "More" items under each page
  • Items in Draft stay off the live site; Show on the site publishes them
  • Published items go into the sitemap and llms.txt

  • Layouts: Cards, List, Table
  • How many: 3, 6, 9, 12 or All; a button such as See all

Questions

Do new items go live at once?

No. New and changed items reach the live site with the next Publish changes, like every other change.

Can I hide an item without deleting it?

Yes. Untick Show on the site. The item stays in the editor as a draft.

Can I use my own address, such as /our-people?

Yes. Set it in Fields and address. It cannot be an address a page or the shop already uses.

Can I bring my team list in from Excel?

Not yet. Items are added one by one in the editor.
