Often bought together and buy more, pay less

Suggest products that go together, with one button to add them all, and give a lower price per piece when a buyer takes more. Both are set on the product, and the lower price is charged at checkout as shown.
PLANSFrom Growth

The problem it solves

  • A buyer takes the cake but forgets the candles, and you lose the second sale.
  • Wholesale buyers ask by phone what the price is for ten pieces.
  • Quantity offers are written in the description, then given by hand on the invoice.
  • Nobody has time to pick the matching products for every item in the shop.

How it works

  1. Open a product, Online Shop tab. Under Often Bought Together, pick the products to suggest.
  2. Leave it empty and, with the shop setting on, SmartMy picks the products most often in the same orders.
  3. Under Buy More, Pay Less, add lines such as from 3 pieces, 5 % off and from 6 pieces, 10 % off.
  4. The product page shows the bundle with Add all, and the quantity steps with the price per piece; the step reached lights up.
  5. At checkout the best step the quantity reaches is put on the order line as a discount.

Everything it does

Often bought together

  • Your own list per product: up to four are sent to the site
  • Without a list: picked from confirmed orders of the last year, products seen together in at least two orders
  • The page shows up to three that are in stock and have a single option, so they can be added in one go
  • Add all puts them in the cart with the product
  • Customers who viewed this also viewed is a separate row, counted on the site from views

Buy more, pay less

  • Lines of From Quantity (2 or more) and Discount (%) (more than 0 and less than 100)
  • One line per quantity on a product
  • The page shows each step with the price per piece
  • At checkout the best step reached is the line's discount
  • A running deal and a percentage code come off on top of it

Questions

Can I sell a fixed bundle at one price?

Not as a bundle. Often bought together suggests separate products at their own prices. For one price, make the bundle a product of its own.

Does buy more, pay less work across different products?

No. The steps count the quantity on each cart line. Each option is its own line, so 2 in size M and 2 in size L count as two lines of 2.

Where do the automatic suggestions come from?

From your confirmed sales orders of the last year in the same entity, not only website orders. A pair must appear together in at least two orders.

Does it add up with a discount code?

Yes. A percentage code comes off after the bulk price.
