SmartMy Sign extras: AI reading, bulk send, digital seal and API
Scale adds four SmartMy Sign extras to rental agreements signed online. Send one document to many people at once, and seal signed PDFs against change. Connect your own software through an API with webhooks, and have the AI read signed documents.

The problem it solves
- New terms must be signed by 300 corporate bookers, one email at a time.
- A customer claims the signed agreement was changed after signing.
- Your own booking system cannot send an agreement for signing without someone retyping it.
How it works
- Bulk send: open Rental > Sign > Documents > Bulk Send and pick a PDF template. Pick the role each recipient signs as, and the recipients from contacts or a CSV file (name, email, phone). Choose who signs the other roles on every copy, such as your manager, and send.
- Each recipient gets their own copy and link. The batch under Rental > Sign > Documents > Batches shows how many were sent, signed, declined and are waiting. It has Remind Those Waiting and Cancel Those Waiting.
- Digital seal: every finished PDF is sealed with the platform's document-signing certificate, so PDF readers show it was not changed after signing.
- API: a Sign manager makes a key under Rental > Sign > Configuration > API Keys with Make a New Key. The key and webhook secret are shown once; your software then lists templates, sends requests, reads their state, downloads the signed PDF or cancels.
- Webhooks: give the key a Webhook URL. When a request sent through that key is completed or declined, the URL is called once, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-SmartMy-Signature header.

Digital seal
- A PAdES seal with the time of signing and the verify code
- Uses SmartMy's certificate set on our servers. When it is missing, the document is signed as before and its audit trail notes it was not sealed
API and webhooks
- Keys per Entity, stored hashed; the first characters show as Starts With, with Last Used
- Calls under /sign/api/v1 with the X-Api-Key header: templates, send a request, its state, the signed PDF, cancel
- Only templates from an uploaded PDF can be sent through the API
- Webhook on completed or declined, 10 seconds to answer, one call; the result is noted on the request's audit trail
- A key can read and cancel any signing request of its Entity, not only those it sent: give keys only to software you trust
AI reading
- AI Reading of Documents is a switch per Entity. Read with AI fills in the summary, parties, key dates, obligations and unusual terms. Key dates become to-dos
- Comes with Scale; it runs for people an administrator has given AI
- Uses AI credits from the AI wallet

Yes, it comes with Scale. Switch on AI Reading of Documents for the Entity, and an administrator gives each person AI. Reading uses AI credits.Is every signed document sealed?
