A quote request page that makes CRM leads
Put one link on your website or email signature. Buyers send what they need, the quantities, a needed-by date and up to five drawings or CAD files. Each request becomes a CRM lead with its files already measured, and your sales team is told by email.

The problem it solves
- Buyers email drawings to whoever they know, and the enquiry is lost in one person's inbox.
- Quantities and dates arrive in three separate mails.
- Large CAD files bounce off email size limits.
- Nobody can say how many enquiries came in this month or which were answered.
How it works
- Link your website or email signature to the page /quote/request on your SmartMy address. Add ?company= and the Entity's number for another Entity.
- The buyer fills in what to make, quantities, needed by, notes and their contact details. They attach up to 5 files and may tick No AI on my drawings.
- The request becomes a CRM lead for the Entity's sales team, marked From the Quote Request Page. The files are on its Design Files tab, measured.
- The sales team (its members and leader; else the Sales Managers) gets the Quote Request email.
- On the lead, press Make Estimate: an estimate for the customer (made from the lead when needed). It has the lead's files and a quantity line for each number asked. The Estimates button lists them.

- Fields: what you need (required), quantities, needed by, notes, name (required), company, email (required), phone
- Up to 5 files: PDF, PNG, JPG, WEBP, STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, STL, DXF; 20 MB each
- Says that drawings may be read with an AI service to answer faster, and offers No AI on my drawings
- After sending, the page thanks the buyer; errors show on the form with what was typed kept
Against spam
- A hidden trap field: requests that fill it are quietly dropped
- At most 5 requests an hour from one address
- File type and size limits
The lead
- Name from what is needed; contact name, company, email, phone, the notes
- Quantities Asked and Needed By; Sent From Address
- No AI on Their Drawings: copied to the customer when the lead gets one
- Design Files tab with each file measured (size, weight, cut length) and viewable in 3D
- Make Estimate takes up to 6 quantities from the Quantities Asked text

Do we need the website app to use it?
No. The page works on its own at /quote/request. Link to it from any website, email signature or WhatsApp message.Can a buyer refuse AI on their drawings?
Yes. They tick No AI on my drawings. The lead and then the customer keep it, and Draft with AI refuses for them.Is it protected against spam?
A hidden trap field drops automated posts, and one address can send at most 5 requests an hour. Only allowed file types and sizes are taken. There is no captcha.Do buyers see the 3D view?
No. The viewer is for your team on the lead and the estimate.Has it run with real buyers?
