SmartMy Sign extras: AI reading, bulk send, digital seal and API
On Scale, SmartMy Sign adds bulk send of one document to many tenants and a digital seal on every signed PDF. It also adds an API with webhooks for your own systems. It also has the AI read signed documents, once switched on.
PLANSScale only
The problem it solves
- A rule change has to be signed by 200 tenants, one request at a time.
- A tenant claims the signed lease was changed afterwards.
- Your website or ERP cannot send a document for signature by itself.
How it works
- For many signers, open Sign > Documents > Bulk Send: pick a template and the recipients from contacts or a CSV file (name, email, phone). Each gets their own copy and link.
- Follow the batch under Sign > Documents > Batches: how many signed, declined or are waiting. Remind or cancel the open ones together.
- Every signed PDF gets a digital seal, so any PDF reader shows it was not changed after signing.
- For your own software, a manager makes an API key under Sign > Configuration > API Keys. A webhook URL is called when a document is signed or declined.
- Leases still go out from the lease with Send Agreement, as on every plan.
Everything it does
Bulk send
- One template to many recipients, each in their own request
- The same people sign the other roles, such as your company
- Recipients from contacts or a CSV file
Digital seal
- A PAdES seal with the time of signing on the final PDF
- Uses the platform's document-signing certificate; without it, documents are signed as before with a note that the seal is missing
API and webhooks
- Keys per Entity, kept hashed and shown once; header X-Api-Key
- Calls for templates, sending a request, its state and the signed PDF
- Webhook on completed or declined, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in X-SmartMy-Signature
AI reading
- Summary, parties, key dates, obligations and unusual terms on each request
- Comes with Scale. AI Reading of Documents is a switch per Entity. It runs for people an administrator has given AI, and it uses AI credits
- Key dates still to come become to-dos for whoever sent the request

Questions
Can we send one addendum to every tenant of a building?
Yes. Use Bulk Send with a template and the tenants as recipients; each signs their own copy.Is AI reading on with Scale?
Yes, it comes with Scale. Switch on AI Reading of Documents for the Entity, and an administrator gives each person AI. Reading uses AI credits. Will the seal show in Adobe Reader?
Yes, where the platform certificate is set up. A reader then warns about any change after signing.Related features
