Leases signed through SmartMy Sign
Send a lease for signing online from the lease itself. The tenant and your signer each get their own link, confirm a one-time code and sign. The signed PDF with its audit trail comes back to the lease.

The problem it solves
- Leases are printed, couriered, signed and scanned, and a week goes by before the tenant can move in.
- Nobody can prove which version was signed, or when.
- Keys are handed over before the agreement is signed.
How it works
- Place the signature, initials and date fields once on the Rental Agreement template (it prints from the lease).
- On the lease, press Send Agreement. The tenant and the person in charge of the lease are proposed as signers.
- Each signer gets a link by WhatsApp, email or SMS, confirms a one-time code (by email to start with) and signs by drawing or typing.
- Signers sign in order, tenant first and then your side, or you can hand the device to the tenant with Sign in Person.
- When everyone has signed, the signed PDF with its certificate, verify code and QR is posted in the lease's chatter and goes to every signer. To give the tenant the download link on their page, put that PDF in the Signed Lease field.

Sending
- Send Agreement on the lease; the signature state shows on the lease's button
- Template "Rental Agreement" made from the agreement print of the lease, with the Customer and Company roles
- Signers: the tenant as Customer, the lease's salesperson (or you) as Company
- Order: one after the other to start with
- Verification: one-time code by email to start with; SMS or WhatsApp also possible
Signing
- Signing page with no login; draw or type the signature, or use a saved one
- Decline with a reason, or hand on to someone else
- Time, IP address, device and place kept for each signer
- Reminders every few days and an expiry, set on the request
Result
- Signed PDF with the values stamped, a verify code and a QR on each page
- Signing certificate at the end: signers, how they were checked, the audit trail
- SHA-256 of the result; anyone can check a copy on the verify page
- A note "Agreement signed" posted on the lease

- Setting "Agreement Before Going Out": Move In is refused until the agreement is signed

Where you use it
- Web: Send Agreement on the lease; the Sign menu sits inside the Lease app
- The signing page opens on any phone or computer from the link, no login
- Signing does not fill the Signed Lease field. The signed PDF is posted in the lease's chatter. The Signed Lease field on the Signing and Registration tab (behind the tenant's download link) stays empty until someone uploads the file there
