One design gives the price, the cut list and the labels. Boxes are priced from the materials of each part, the locked design makes the cut list with nesting, a panel CSV, a DXF per panel and barcode labels, and the site team scans each label when the panels arrive.

Can our CNC read the files?

Each panel comes as a DXF with its outline, grooves and drill holes on their own layers, in mm, and the panel list as a CSV for panel saws and optimisers. Files in a particular machine maker's own format are not built yet.

Do we need SmartMy Manufacturing?

No. Without it, the cut list is released to your factory or sent to a vendor with its files. With it, releasing the cut list makes a manufacturing order with the boards as components.
