Ready courses from the course store
Learn Managers browse ready courses from SmartMy and its partners, such as POSH, data protection and workplace safety. They take them in as drafts, adapt them and publish.
PLANSEvery plan
The problem it solves
- Every company needs a POSH and safety course, and writing one from scratch takes weeks.
- Bought content arrives as files someone has to rebuild into the LMS.
- When the content is updated, you never hear of it.
How it works
- A Learn Manager opens Learn > Manage Courses > Course Store > Browse the Store. Each course shows its publisher, category, level, language, lessons, price and whether you have it.
- Press Get. A free course comes at once. A priced one is put on your subscription's bill and comes once that bill is paid.
- Courses taken come in as draft courses of your Entity each night, or at once with Bring My Store Courses.
- Check the course and change what you need. Our policy courses are templates: match them to your own policy and the law first.
- Publish it and enrol people as with any course. A new version in the store comes as a new draft; with course versions it is the next version of your course.

Questions
Can we change a store course?
Yes. It arrives as a draft course of your Entity. Change, add or remove lessons before you publish. Is the POSH course ready to publish?
It is a template. Check it against your own policy, your Internal Committee and the law, then publish. How do we pay for a priced course?
It goes on your SmartMy subscription bill. Pay it on the billing page; the course arrives once it is paid. What if the publisher updates a course?
The new version arrives as a new draft. With course versions, publishing it replaces the old one for new learners, and people half-way finish on theirs.Related features
