Resident statement and yearly rent receipt
Print a resident's statement of every charge, invoice and payment, with what is due and the deposit held, in one click. Residents who claim rent in their tax return get a yearly rent receipt as a PDF. Both download from the portal and the app.
PLANSFrom Growth
The problem it solves
- A resident disputes their dues, and the desk scrolls through months of slips to explain them.
- Every March, residents line up for rent receipts for their tax claim, typed one by one.
- A rent receipt includes rent the employer paid, and the resident claims it anyway.
- Parents ask what they paid this year and wait for the office to reply.
How it works
- Open the stay and click Statement. A PDF opens with every charge, its payer, invoice, payment state and amount, then Due now and Deposit held.
- For the rent receipt, click Rent Receipt. The financial year of your entity is proposed under Rent Of; change the dates if needed.
- Click Print. The receipt lists each rent period of those dates that the resident paid, with the invoice, the rent and the amount paid.
- It names the resident, the bed and the hostel's address, and the operator's name, address and tax number (PAN / GSTIN). A line is left for the signature.
- Residents and guardians download the statement and the rent receipts of the last three financial years on the portal and in the app.
Everything it does
Statement
- Resident, stay number, hostel and bed, and the dates from check-in to the exit date
- Every charge not waived, by date: description, payer, invoice, payment state and amount
- Due now: what is unpaid on the stay's invoices
- Deposit held: deposits paid, less deposits returned
- Printed as a PDF from the stay, or downloaded by the resident
Yearly rent receipt
- For any dates; the entity's financial year to start with (April to March in India)
- Rent periods that start within those dates, one row per period: dates, invoice, rent and amount paid
- Counts what was paid, including part payments, and the rent's taxes as on the invoice
- Credit notes and adjustments for a period are netted on its row
- Rent paid by others, such as an employer or sponsor, is shown apart and is not part of the receipt
- Says plainly when no rent was billed for the dates
- Operator's name, address and tax ID (PAN / GSTIN) when set on the entity; a signature line for an authorised signatory
Self-service
- Portal Dues page: Statement, and Rent receipt for each of the last three financial years (labelled like 2026-27)
- The resident app: Statement and receipts, downloaded as PDF to save or send on
- Guardians see the same on their own login
- Rent receipts are offered once the resident has checked in, not for a booking
