Chats, lead ads and interested replies become CRM leads

With CRM, a chat becomes a CRM lead in one press. Every lead from a Facebook, Instagram or Google lead form can make one by itself. A reply rule can turn every interested reply to your outreach into a lead.

The problem it solves

  • A promising chat ends on WhatsApp, and the sales pipeline never hears of it.
  • Leads from ads sit in a spreadsheet downloaded once a week.
  • An interested reply to a cold email waits in an inbox until the prospect goes cold.

How it works

  1. From a chat: choose Make a Lead in the inbox's ⋮ menu. A CRM lead opens with the contact and the last 30 messages. The button then reads Open the Lead.
  2. From lead ads: on a Lead Ad Form, Make a CRM Lead is on by default. Each lead that arrives makes a CRM lead with the form, campaign, ad and every answer.
  3. From replies (Growth): on a reply rule, tick Make a CRM Lead. When a reply is sorted into the rule's category, such as Interested, a lead is made with the conversation.
  4. Your sales team works the leads in CRM's pipeline as usual.

Everything it does

From a chat (every plan, with CRM)

  • One lead per conversation; pressed again it opens the same lead
  • Name: the channel and the person; contact, email and phone from the chat
  • Salesperson: whoever the chat is assigned to, else the person pressing
  • Description: the last 30 messages; a note in the chat records it

From lead ads (every plan, with CRM)

  • Make a CRM Lead on each Lead Ad Form, on by default
  • Name: the form and the person; salesperson: the form's Call Them person
  • Description: campaign, ad and every question and answer
  • Test leads from Google make no CRM lead

From reply rules (Growth, with CRM)

  • Make a CRM Lead on a reply rule, for a reply category such as Interested or Has a Question
  • Only for the rule's Entity, and for its sequence when the rule names one
  • Salesperson: the rule's task person; the lead says how the reply was sorted
  • Needs reply sorting, which is in Growth

Questions

Do we need a separate CRM?

The CRM app must be installed in your database. The Make a Lead button and Make a CRM Lead ticks appear when it is.

Will a chat make many leads?

No. Each conversation makes one lead; pressing again opens it.

Can every interested reply become a lead by itself?

Yes, from Growth. Make a reply rule for Interested and tick Make a CRM Lead.

Do lead ads from Facebook make leads today?

The code is built. Facebook and Instagram leads come in once Meta approves SmartMy's Meta app; Google lead forms work by webhook.
