Who is it for?
Schools and colleges that run buses, companies that run staff transport, and any organisation with its own vehicles.
How do parents know where the bus is?
They sign in to their page, or open Transport in the SmartMy Campus app, and see the bus on a map with the expected arrival at their stop. They are told when the bus starts, is near, and when their child boards and is dropped: by email in every plan, and by WhatsApp or SMS from the Growth plan.
What do we need for live tracking?
A GPS tracker in each vehicle that reports to the tracking server we run for you. Trackers and SIM cards are not included.
How is the arrival time worked out?
From the vehicle's position, the planned stop times and the delay so far. After a few runs it uses the route's real timings for that weekday. It does not use live traffic.
Can we use it without GPS trackers?
Yes, for bookings, maintenance, fuel, papers and manually run routes. The live map and arrival times need trackers.
Does it plan our routes?
It suggests a stop order and can re-plan a set of routes on the fewest vehicles. You review the suggestion before anything changes.
What does it cost?
Prices are not published. Tell us your number of vehicles and what you need, and we will quote.
