What does SmartMy HRMS cover?
Employee records, shifts and attendance, leave, payroll with Indian statutory deductions and income tax, loans, recruitment, joining, letters, assets, travel and expenses, appraisals, training, discipline, agency staff and exit with the full and final settlement.
Is the payroll built for India?
Yes. PF, ESIC, professional tax, labour welfare fund, gratuity, bonus and TDS under both tax regimes are part of the product, with the PF and ESIC monthly files and Form 16 Part B.
Do employees get a separate portal?
No. Employees sign in to the same product and see only their own records. There is no second site to maintain.
Can HR change someone's attendance?
Only users you give that right, and only for their companies or departments. The original punches stay as they are. Each change needs a reason and appears in a report for management.
Can we start in the middle of a financial year?
Yes. Employees, opening leave balances, past attendance, the pay of the year so far, open loans and assets held come in from Excel, so tax and statutory figures carry on from where they were.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. SmartMy HRMS for Android and iPhone is built and not in the stores yet. Employees mark attendance, apply for leave and download payslips; managers and HR approve and do their daily work. Everything also works in the browser.
